This show @jikaparty was a full circle moment for us @dlala.fm. It was where I first met @rush.hour.xo and @soji.wav for the first time. Only for us to become best friends and start DJ’ing together. Now we find ourselves as one of the opening DJ’s for @gl_ceejay @grillyard_intl at the same party we met at🥹

Special shoutout to @mimsyxo for having us on her radio show @extradiouk and allowing us to come vibe and share our story #mimasmusicmondays

#MimasMusicMondays with the gorgeous @dlala.fm 💛

such a joy and pleasure having this trio in the studio!
@khangyy, @rush.hour.xo & @soji.wav

I took away a few things from them, but one thing sits deeply - have fun whilst doing what you love, have fun whilst living! It is not only important, but necessary.

Abike, Khangwelo & Soji - I wish you nothing but love, joy and peace my friends. Keep going 🫶🏾

introducing this week’s guests for #MimasMusicMondays 💛

DLALA.fm ⭐️

Every Wednesday for a year, RUSH:HOUR, Soji.wav, and Khangyy played music together. No stage, no pressure, just three friends, a love for DJing and a weekly ritual that became the foundation of DLALA.fm.

Their sound is rooted in South African music, from private school amapiano to Afro-tech, while remaining open to the wider Afro-electronic landscape.

What began as their weekly sessions eventually moved from the crib into the public realm at Boxpark Shoreditch, becoming the beginning of DLALA.fm and bringing their community together.

DLALA.fm is the evolution of those Wednesdays, a collective built around music, friendship, culture and the freedom to play.

The mission is simple - to share the music they love, create memorable dancefloors and keep playing.

join me & @dlala.fm on Sunday 20th September to get the body moving!

This is a full circle moment for me. To think this time last year, DJ’ing was just a dream I kept saying I would do and never really got to it. To now having played at @boxpark all summer long with my best friends.

I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has come out and always supported me and even those who couldn’t but always showed their support in other ways🥺🫶🏽

The LAST GROOVE was packed with some of the best DJ’s in the piano scene and boy did we have a time.

Piano to the damn world 🇿🇦

The show will still go on. All links tofuture events where I am DJ’ing will always be on my Komi in my bio.
