Made with Love is a video series that celebrates the way food connects us to the land and to the people who came before us. Each episode follows culinary artist Yannick as he takes simple, natural ingredients grown right on the property and turns them into something unexpected, while still holding on to the traditions we grew up around.

The series is less about recipes and more about the intention. Using what the earth gives you, respecting it, and finding new ways to tell old stories through food. Whether it’s something humble like plantain or something pulled straight from the garden, every dish is a reminder that creativity doesn’t mean forgetting the past; it means building on it.

At its core, Made with Love is about local roots, quiet craftsmanship, and the idea that the most meaningful things are often made simply with care, patience, and love. by @kharlenjervier

🇲🇶 Lors de la micro-résidence Lorizon, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir des artistes circassiens du Waitu Cirque, qui ont été travaillé en choeur avec les autres artistes pour alimenter leurs récits parfois déjà existants. C’est le cas de Khade Elwin, aidée de N'jelle Gage Thorne et Kharlen Jervier.
Belle Âme est une œuvre en construction, nourrie par les autres artistes présents à Caapi à ce moment-là. Un travail de groupe porté par nos différents horizons pour une même interrogation, à plusieurs voix.

🇩🇲🇱🇨 During the Lorizon micro-residency, we had the privilege of welcoming circus artists from Waitu Cirque, who worked collectively with the other artists to enrich narratives that were, at times, already in progress. This was the case for Khade Elwin, with visual support from Kharlen Jervier. Movement quality heavily influenced by Njelle Gage Thorne and contributions of the other artists.
Belle Âme is a work in progress, shaped by the presence and contributions of the other artists at Caapi during that time. It is a collective endeavor, carried by our different horizons, engaging with a shared question expressed through multiple voices.

“Belle Âme est un folklore vivant, non seulement raconté dans des histoires, mais inscrit dans les corps et les mouvements. Elle est un esprit du devenir, elle marche entre la nuit et la mémoire.
Elle apparaît dans des moments de calme comme de bouleversement, visitant et habitant celles et ceux en quête d’inspiration,
réveillant un savoir ancestral profondément ancré dans le corps.
À travers le mouvement et le rythme,
elle relie le passé et le futur, faisant émerger ce qui t’a toujours appartenu.
Face à la stagnation, elle surgit pour troubler, pour secouer, pour te rappeler à toi-même,
pour faire émerger le meilleur de toi.
Non pas pour hanter,
mais pour révéler.
Belle Âme n’est pas là pour t’effrayer.
Elle est là pour te rappeler.”
