Well, we moved Katelyn in to her new place this past week and she started her sophomore year today! Hoping she has another great year! What a wonderful weekend spent with some of my favorite people! My beautiful family and my friends who became family the day we met! We’ve grown up as parents and teachers together and our kids have grown up like brothers and sisters. From good times to bad times, happy times or sad times, they have been through it all with me and will always be there! Love them so much! by @khavemann01

Well…from ONE of her first Aggie games where we started the brainwashing to her FIRST game as a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ‘29! We had a great time tailgating, reminiscing, watching our daughter now live out her dream! Gig ‘em! by @khavemann01

Well, we did it! We were brave and strong and didn’t shed tears until we got to the car and drove away and left a huge piece of our heart in Aggieland! She is all set with the sweetest roommate, and we got to have a nice family dinner at Wings N More. While this drive home is so hard, we know she is going to be living her best life as an Aggie! We can’t wait to see everything she accomplishes in this next chapter! Katelyn Dawn you’ve grown into a beautiful young woman, now’s your time to spread your wings and SOAR! Senior Sunday…we wrapped up their Senior Softball Banquet tonight…High School softball may be coming to a close but they’ve built a lasting friendship! So proud of them and all they’ve accomplished! by @khavemann01

This is what it means to show up and be there for your family!!! Knowing how much Katelyn loves softball and that she has made the hardest decision ever, to hang up her cleats after high school, my brother and his family drove 4 hours yesterday to watch Katelyn play softball in her playoff game against Bridgeland and then drove 4 hours back home that night. She had NO IDEA!!! The look on her face in the video is priceless! She has always had so much love and support from family and friends and so many of them always show up to cheer her on but your other family is out of town is so hard…game changer isn’t the same as in person! Love you guys and thank you for making the drive, staying for the extra innings and always rooting for Katelyn! by @khavemann01
