30 years ago, you made us parents for the very first time, and our lives were forever changed in the most wonderful way. You were our first glimpse of a love we never knew existed, our first answered prayer, and the beginning of the greatest adventure of our lives. Watching you grow from our precious little girl into the beautiful, strong, amazing woman you are today has been one of our greatest joys. We are so incredibly proud of you!
You will always be the little girl who first taught us what it means to love someone with our whole hearts.
As you begin a new decade, our prayer is that God continues to guide your steps, fill your heart with joy, and bless you beyond anything you could imagine! From the mountains of Colorado to the streets of NYC in the same week! I wouldn’t want it any other way. 2 of my absolute fave places EVER. This trip was all about @jonnytennistravels and the US Open but I managed to sneak in a show, the MOMA, eating at the famous Patsys Italian and meeting the very fun owner/chef, Sal (thanks for the signed book AND dessert…come to Dallas, SOON! 😉)dancing in Times Square and getting lots of steps in this city I love so very much. Catching up on posting! A week in Colorado is always a good idea but especially in the middle of a HELLACIOUS Texas summer! Happiest of birthdays to my bestest, bestest! Another year celebrating YOU!! 🩷🎂 45 years of friendship…how is that even possible?! Said goodbye to a Dallas legend yesterday before it shutters its doors on September 30th. Loved lunching @zodiacroomdallas and perusing all the floors of this special store one last time. Happy 62nd to the man who has never met a stranger, is king of the dad joke, loves to watch/talk about/play tennis, can’t pass a dog without petting it, considers Snuffers the best restaurant in Dallas and is the funniest, coolest guy I know. I met Katie my freshman year at SMU and we became fast friends. We were roomies for our study abroad in Rome and Florence Junior year. Fast forward 35 something years and we had the best time museum hopping through The Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland on this trip. We hit 10 museums in 12 days starting fast and furious our 3 days in Amsterdam the minute we got off the plane, visiting the famous Van Gogh and Rijks museums, along with the Rembrandt House, Anne Frank House and Holocaust museum as well.
