Starting with a rugby ball we support children as they grow up - that's the spirit of rugby.

Super job from our Golden Jackals: Champions of Goa 7s 2026! Stand out performance from Captain Suku in the final with three tries. BIG thanks to @birdrugby for a hard fought final. Special claps for @goutam_majhi7 our harassed Manager and always a star. Supporters came from far and wide, well the legend @peterfern8 turned up! Nothing is possible without the always on support for all our young ruggers coming through Khelo Rugby from @decathlonsportsindia. Thank you to all the organising team @goa.7s, especially the main man @brandancrasto. #GoaRugby7s #GoldenJackals #KheloRugby #FutureHope #GrowingUpWithRugby by @khelorugby

A week with Khelo Rugby 🇮🇳 This summer left me with a biblical archive of rugby content, so in a bid to start working through it. First stop: Kolkata, back in July. Returning to Khelo is always a privilege. This time I had the handsome giant himself @eddiebullock alongside me, and some @samuraisportswear stash to mark the occasion. We got to experience a new side of Khelo through a session in Dhapa, and reconnect with boys we’d first met over a year ago and now have the pleasure of calling close friends. It’s rather hard to describe the feeling of coming back to Khelo, and if you ask Eddie about it, he’ll tell you the waterworks were well and truly flowing. A huge thank you to @samuraisportswear for their continued support. Being able to bring something with us, however small, means a lot. Little did they know we’d secretly put together the greatest five-a-side team Dhapa has ever seen. A week of coaching, learning and thanks to Edward a bit of educating too. To read about it in GCSE-level writing, head to the Substack in my bio, or keep your eyes peeled for some long-overdue content 🇮🇳 #rugby #khelorugby #futurehope #kolkata by @khelorugby

From Manchester to the Maidan! 🏃‍♀️🏉 What better way to welcome Manchester Mayor Bev Craig and her delegation to Kolkata than with a run around our iconic Maidan? Our CEO Sujata was on hand to welcome the delegation, joined by Deputy High Commissioner Andrew Fleming and tug of war leader Chef Shaun. Shared time on Crow Field demonstrated how we use sport in bringing young people together, building confidence and creating opportunities. Two cities, a shared love of sport, and plenty of smiles on a common if slightly muddy ground! A huge thank you to Mayor Bev Craig, the Manchester delegation and Andrew Fleming for spending time with us. We look forward to building on the connections between our cities, one run, one game and one young person at a time. And they’re off… @mayorofgm, @bevcraig starts her day with a visit to Crow Field and fun with some of the @khelorugby by @futurehopeindia girls before engaging with some of the beneficiaries of this wonderful project. So proud to showcase work of over two decades inspired by former Kolkata based British Diplomat @chirpycrow and the incredible impact it has had. by @khelorugby
