To dance, the greatest form of art I’ll ever love who introduced me to @malonestudiosinc @_thecore

You have given me a place like no other, a place that others dream of, a place that produces stars, a place with the most motherly knowledgeable and loving director, a place where teachers are tutors and lifesavers, a place with amazing alumni,a place with a community and sense of home that travels with you and for you no matter how small or large the occasion to simply show their love and support for you. All things that cannot be replicated, or imitated, because this place is Queen of Hearts and it all comes from their heart. Where do I train has always been then question. However, this place didn’t just teach a 4 year old who wanted to play football how to dance. This place made a no rhythm/non flexible little girl a HBCU Dance Captain. This place made a girl who hated school prepared for college and sent her to later earn an academic based full ride. This place taught me hard work. This place required me to have a strong work ethic. This place taught me to adapt and hold myself accountable. This place. This place. This place. I will never have the words to truly thank my studio or the people that made it a home but I forever love you guys!

To The Marching Maroon and White,
Thank you for truly taking me in and being my first family on the hill. You’ve given me my hardest days and my best laughs. But 22’? It will always be my FS/FB on top>>>> iluvDaBand🩷

I was graced with the best staff/motivational speakers of the south, and for that, Dawg, I will forever be BET, I will never be slaw all because I indeed wanted it more than the next person and walked across that stage @aamuband

To my Diva grandmother, there will never be enough words to express the gratitude I have for you. Thank you for shaping me into who I am, for pouring so much love, wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support into my life. Everything I do and am carries a piece of you with it, and I’ll forever be thankful for that.

To my hearts? Headaches? …To my bad bunch, thank you for being such a beautiful blessing in my life. I can’t wait to watch each of you grow into everything you’re meant to be. No matter where life takes you now or then, near or far, know that I’ll always be there cheering you on, loving you, and supporting you every step of the way. I love you endlessly. 🩷

My HBCU! My AAMU! Thank you for every opportunity, lesson, challenge, and moment of growth you have given me both inside and outside of the classroom. You helped shape me into the person I am today, and for that I will forever be grateful. Today, May 8th at 3:00 PM, I will proudly walk across the stage to receive my hard-earned Bachelor’s degree.

To my family, thank you for the love, encouragement, and support that carried me through this journey. And most importantly, thank you to my mother for your unwavering support, sacrifices, prayers, and constant belief in me throughout these last four years. I could not have done this without you.
