This week’s Artist of the Week is Khi Lo 🎶🔥

Coming out of the Washington, D.C. area, Khi Lo blends suburban nostalgia with city culture to create a sound inspired by early 2000s R&B, alternative pop, cinematic films, and electronic music. Pulling influence from artists like Don Toliver, Chase Atlantic, and The Weeknd, his music feels nostalgic while still hitting hard.

His latest release, “LIFE’S A TRIP,” marks his first release with Green Tea and the beginning of a much bigger cinematic universe. Inspired by André 3000’s “Hey Ya!”, the record pairs upbeat, nostalgic production with brutally honest lyrics about recognizing your own flaws and questioning why someone still chooses to love you anyway.

With a new EP rolling out one single at a time, curated release events, short films, and a larger story unfolding through every release, Khi Lo is focused on building a world around his music and bringing his audience along for the ride.
