I don’t quite know how to put this, but I keep thinking back to the kindnesses I received on my birthday, and what that really meant to me. Not to make it about this, but being a single parent, is hard. To acknowledge and give grace for that, is not glorifying the situation, (I guarantee, the majority that find themselves in that position wouldn’t necessarily choose it), but is simply acknowledging and having compassion for what that truly entails. It can be painful, and at times, very lonely. I guess what I’m trying to get at, is, send that message. Tell someone what they mean to you, and how you see them. Take the time to send that encouragement. You might not immediately understand it, but that can mean the world to someone who needs to hear it. by @kholdeman
