Member Spotlight: Khrys Maxwell 🎸

At 55 years young and over 13 years into his CrossFit journey (since May 2013!), Khrys knows a thing or two about longevity, balance, and what keeps you coming back to the whiteboard.

Between running an agave spirits career, owning a guitar shop in Encinitas, and balancing life with tacos, tequila, and an unapologetic love for classic PB&J on white bread, he shows up day after day.

When asked what CrossFit gave him that he couldn't do before, his answer wasn't just pull-ups or Olympic lifts:

👉 Accountability. Showing up on time. Mental fortitude.

The toughness you build on the gym floor isn't just for 60 minutes of class, it’s what you apply to your business, your family, and real life.

Shoutout to Khrys for bringing consistency and high vibes every single week, and big love to Gerardo for inspiring him on the floor!

I’ve taken this place that I’ve been growing up in for the last 38 years, as far as I can - without going into debt. I hate owing anyone anything so it’s time for me to turn it over to someone who can take this place to the next level. Link in bio
