I’ve always been drawn to scenes where a person is just a small part of a much bigger world. There’s something about that contrast that makes me stop and look a little longer.

When I heard Sir Roger Deakins talk about his love for photographing lonely people in big spaces, I found myself relating to it deeply.

Maybe it’s the feeling of solitude, maybe it’s the sense of scale, or maybe it’s just the reminder of how small we really are in the grand scheme of things.

Whatever it is, it’s something I keep coming back to in my own photography.

Pakistan like never seen before.

Whenever people think about travelling across Pakistan, I feel like their minds immediately go to the north. The mountains, valleys, lakes and all those beautiful landscapes.

But after spending more time travelling through Balochistan, I’ve realised how different this side of the country is. There are no a lot of towering mountains or lush green valleys, but there’s something about the vast deserts, rugged coastlines, strange rock formations and endless open landscapes that I’ve really fallen in love with.

I’ve travelled to a lot of places across Pakistan with my camera, and Balochistan has easily become one of the places I keep wanting to go back to. There’s just so much of it that still feels unexplored.

Shot on iPhone 17 Pro.

With Apple just announcing the new iPhone 18 series, I thought it was a good time to share some of my favourite images I’ve shot on the 17 Pro.

Every year there’s a new phone, better cameras, better specs and more reasons to upgrade. But honestly, I don’t think you need the latest and greatest to make meaningful photographs.

The Great Pakistan Adventure — Part 4

This time, we headed down to Sindh and spent some time around Sukkur and Gorakh Hill. It was a completely different side of Pakistan from what we had explored in the earlier parts of the project, and that’s what made this journey so special.

From photographing the BYD Shark 6 under a sky full of stars at Gorakh Hill to getting out on the Indus to photograph the incredibly rare Indus River dolphins. We also got to document Malakhara, the traditional wrestling of Sindh, and spend time with local folk musicians up in the hills.

Looking back at all four episodes, getting to photograph so many different sides of Pakistan has been an incredible experience.

Fall season in Pakistan 🍁

There’s something magical about the arrival of autumn here. As the season slowly makes its way back, the mountains are about to turn golden again, transforming the landscape into an endless painting of vibrant colours.

Here are some of my favourite fall photos I’ve captured in various northern regions of Pakistan.

From the golden trees to the fresh mountain air, this time of year really makes you slow down and enjoy the moment.

Photography has taken me to places I probably would’ve never found otherwise. From long drives through the mountains to quiet mornings by the coast, a lot of my favourite memories now exist as photographs.

These are some of the images I’m most proud of. Not because they’re perfect, but because each one takes me back to a place, a moment, or a journey that meant something to me.

I started with a phone and a lot of curiosity. I’m still learning, still exploring, and still trying to make better photographs every time I go out.

Active Mud Volcano in Balochistan

This active mud volcano almost looks like a giant eye staring back at you, surrounded by these incredible patterns formed by the movement of mud and water. Seeing it from above was one thing, but actually photographing it and trying to find a composition that showed its scale and strange beauty was a whole different experience.

Balochistan never really runs out of places that make you stop and wonder what you’re looking at.

Sometimes I think the more I travel, the more I realize how little of Pakistan I’ve actually seen.

There are still so many places I want to photograph, from remote mountain valleys to quiet coastlines and landscapes I’ve only seen in pictures. Every trip leaves me with something new, and usually a reason to come back.

This is part 2 of that journey. More places, more memories, and a few more parts of Pakistan that I hope you get to see someday too. Happy Independence day 🇵🇰

Sometimes I think photography has become my excuse to keep exploring.

Every journey leaves me with more than just photographs. It leaves me with memories of early mornings, long drives, conversations with strangers, and moments that would have been impossible to experience otherwise.

This series is my way of looking back at those journeys. From mountains to coastlines, forests to lakes, these are some of the places that made me fall in love with traveling across Pakistan in the first place. I hope they make you want to see them for yourself someday.
