As my softball career at Wellington High School comes to an end, it’s hard to put into words how much this game and the people in it mean to me.❤️ Throughout my high school career, I’ve been blessed to go to regionals 4 times and state 3 times. I’ve made so many unforgettable memories, learned so much about myself, and built friendships that I’ll carry with me long after my playing days are over. I couldn’t have asked for better teammates, and I’m going to miss every single one of them more than they know. From the wins and losses to the laughs, long practices, bus rides, and everything in between, these are memories I’ll cherish forever. My senior season didn’t end the way I had always pictured it. Having my season cut short because of a broken leg was one of the hardest things I’ve had to go through, but it taught me so much about strength, perspective, and appreciating every moment you get to be out there. I may have missed some of the season, but I never missed a memory. A huge thank you to Coach Chas for everything you’ve done for me, for pushing me to be better, and for being part of my journey. Thank you to my family for always being there, supporting me through the highs and lows, and never giving up on me. Thank you to my friends, teammates, and everyone who has cheered me on, believed in me, and supported me throughout this journey. I wouldn’t be the player or person I am today without all of you. Wellington softball will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m so grateful for every opportunity, every lesson, every friendship, and every memory this game has given me. While it’s hard to say goodbye to this chapter, I’ll forever be proud to have been a part of it. #2 signing out.🤍 by @ki.ley1035
