HELLO, I’m @annlysamuel

@kid.crtv is my little corner of creativity.

My love for creating started in the church and from there I couldn’t stop exploring and designing. If you’ve been following me for some time, you probably know my work is all over the place, from photography to designing graphics for t shirts ;) We do it all here 🤗

As a freelancer, I am open for commissions, so whether you’re looking for standout designs, custom graphics or prints for your home, just send me a DM. 🫶

God’s will isn’t designed to keep you comfortable—it’s meant to prune you!

I remember reading the Bible a few years ago and how horribly wrong I went about it. I’d open it up expecting it to speak to me like a magic 8 ball. When I didn’t get the answer I was looking for—and instead got a random genealogy—I’d close it.

I couldn’t understand why others seemed to have these crazy encounters with God through scripture, and I didn’t. Then I heard this simple truth: ‘The Word is so you can know God better, not yourself.’

That changed everything. When I stopped searching for my reflection and started seeking Him, I encountered God in ways I never imagined. I found answers I didn’t even know I needed for struggles I didn’t know I had.

‘These are the Scriptures that testify about me.’ — John 5:39

The purpose of the Bible isn’t to tell us about us—it’s to reveal the Lord. Stop searching for your reflection and start seeking His glory.

As my first post of this year I wanted to get a little personal. This year, I want to be intentional with my conversations with Jesus—less asking for things and more listening to what He wants to say. I hope this encourages you to reflect on your own prayer life.

Here’s to more moments of silence, stillness, and truly hearing His voice.

How are you approaching your conversations with Jesus this year? - love, KID⭑CRTV by @kid.crtv

“Yes, certainly, I count everything as loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord,

for whom I have forfeited the loss of all things and count them as rubbish that I may gain Christ,“

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬

Jesus’ dinner parties were nothing near pretty or neat.

He invited everyone, anyone. All were welcome and all had a seat at His table. He was radically inclusive & He’s invited us too.
