Lots of talk about whimsy here, so I thought I’d share some.

I’ve always been into metal, toys and horror my entire life. These toys are the amalgamation of those passions; the Crab Scratcher sculpted by @wesbenscoter and produced by @hyperstoic_returns .

Wes has created some of the most iconic album covers in metal history, working with Slayer, Black Sabbath, Mortician, Broken Hope, Cattle Decapitation and countless others. He’s also done art for iconic films such as Vampyros Lesbos, Tombs of the Blind Dead, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Michele Soavi’s “The Church” (a personal fave) and so many more.

Pushead is a name that needs no introduction. Vocalist for the iconic hardcore punk band @septic_death , he is an icon across so many scenes. Even if you don’t know him, you know his art style as he has done countless designs for Metallica, the Misfits, Dr. Dre, Travis Barker, and Thrasher just to name a few. I was able to score this one-off painted by Pus at a NYC show in 2019 and it is one of my favorite pieces in my entire collection.

As fun as soft vinyl toys are, I’ve felt it has been especially cool marrying passions I’ve had my entire life from high school 20+ years ago to now, collecting and even hosting art shows (@kaijucult </cheap plug>) with some of my favorite artists that I am now fortunate enough to call friends.

If that isn’t whimsical, I don’t know what is.

One thing I am trying to do is be a better crow dad. I’m now trying to feed them specifically when they can see me doing it. It is working. If you translate from Crowatian he is saying “yooooo it’s the motherfucking peanut guy; he’s cool as fuck” by @kid_miracleman

About five months ago we shoot the SOFUBI doggy finger puppet making process, and now we finally have time to share it with you guys. If we want to put these two adorable puppies on our fingers, our fingers need to be thin enough, haha.
