Dropping the last thesis self publishing tutorial in celebration of the senior show tonight! 💕
•
While working on my @ringlingcollegeillustration senior thesis with @mixamprint , I noticed a lot of people didn’t know how to set up specifics in indesign! I wanted to make something to help out the rising seniors✨

The sun is up early drawing some clouds ☀️⛅️🖍️
My combo submission for #peachtober with the prompts #peachtoberwindmill26 #peachtobercrayon26 #peachtobersun26

For this piece I really wanted to play with textures and medium, doing it fully traditionally with no digital edits whatsoever (besides trying to make the photo match the original haha)

Some tape peeling ASMR for the painters out there!

Bubbles!! 🫧🌷💕 This is my combined #peachtober prompt for #peachtoberstickers #peachtoberbubble #peachtoberflowerbed ✨✂️

I tried to really push myself to only use a few materials and not spent more then two hours on this piece. I love how playful it came out!

The plum witch crafting a yummy cinnamon latte spell ☕️🍂✨ combination of: #peachtober26spell #peachtober26cinnamon #peachtober26plum

@peachtober has been such a fun experience so far! I know this isn’t traditionally how it’s done, but combining 3 prompts lets me spend a max of 3 days creating a full piece 💕 and I have been sticking to that!

I also tried to play with colors like black / dark blue that I don’t normally go for in backgrounds! Kinda inspired by Mary Blair’s darker pieces where the color just pops right off!

#peachtober26 sketches! A minor little peak at the combo prompt of the next 3 days 👀 by @kidfia

Time spent: ~ 5 Hours
Materials: Gouache, Papercut, Crayon, Digital

I’m interested in board books, picture books and young reader graphic novels 🎨✂️📚I’m happily represented by @andreabrownlit so please contact @analiarcabello if you have me in mind for publishing projects! :) by @kidfia

The long over due post to show off my book design from my Scholastic Internship! I got to work on so many books, but these were the main two I got to do lots on, especially Gabby’s! 🐈💕📚

This internship I did my sophomore into junior year @ringlingcollegeillustration was so important to me as it really launched me into being a designer as well as illustrator! I find book design to be so fun that I still continue it till this day from book covers to zine spreads. They sit proudly on my book shelf with the rest of my collection. taken in New York, New York by @kidfia

I thought it would be cute to experiment with my doodle comic style in a reel with minimal animation (and of course to this song)! by @kidfia

Is your culture or country here? Lmk! 🗺️✨🧚‍♀️🌷

This is from my art school senior thesis, Wildflower! I explored the idea that fairies come from everywhere, just like humans! Their cultures are like their human counter parts, but more focused on the earth and talents that they all share 💕 by @kidfia

I’ve been experimenting more with mixed media and even tried out a bit of pan pastel for this one! It was so much fun to play around with comic panel shapes and formatting. This was definitely inspired by the owl house meets My Little Pony lol
