Lost so many coho the past few times I’ve gone out, so this was pretty uplifting. Unfortunately probably last local trip before I start spending my time at the coast. @ultimate.egg.cure Spawn sacks I tied up last night were a hit under a fixed float! In and out within 2.5hrs of fishing. Just more meat for the smoker! 💨

No filter, no tricks, just some of the brightest eggs on the river.. Ultimate Egg Cure doesn’t need editing the color speaks for itself. Have you tried it yet? #ultimateeggcure #salmoneggs by @kidpenner

Rarely do you stumble upon a steelhead of this size. So I had to let this hatchery buck go, hopefully he spawns some more big ones for the future.

My boy, you’re 1. What felt like the longest and the quickest 1 year of my life has passed now. You’re no longer a baby, you’re growing into a toddler now. Mom and dad are tired, but you make sure you get us up bright and early to start our day. I promised to give you what I didn’t get to fully experience growing up and I’ll hold to it as much as I can. You’re so full of laughs, screaming, smiles and your favorite of them all, blabbering. I can’t wait to take you out exploring with me on the rivers one day with me and the boys. It’s so fascinating seeing you so into fishing rods and my hobby.. lol You will always be my greatest creation, I love you Lukas. Love dad. by @kidpenner

First Buoy 10 experience was a blast, can’t wait for next year. @fishy_mills is a legend, best guide experience I’ve ever had. Thanks for taking us out!

Spring chinook, waking up at crackhead hours to hike through a pitch black forest just to get down to the river by first light all to catch a fish.

My Brother @pnw_penner and I went 5/9 yesterday on some jig fishing. Was able to put in work on my new @lamiglasrods “The closer” CP rod. Two more catches added to @baselinemaps 🤙🏽
