Dripping wet in the glamour of my 80’s playboy covergirl dream!! 💦🌺💦

🥥 I have been aching to bring this vision to life. The pacific ocean was a perfect muse.
🔱 The vibrance and whiplash of every photo shot on Kodak in playboy magazines from the 70’s-80’s have charmed me more than words can say this year. I keep my favorite 1975 playboy on my bedside altar to read by candlelight. When I’m lounging in bed, I love going back to almost every interview, advice column, erotica film piece, photoshoot, and full page ads for cigarettes, alcohol, stereos, cameras, and italian linen suits it holds.
🌺This special 1975 October edition has a beautiful tribute to the Greek poet Sappho with her words and art accompanying stunning portraits of women loving women. You would be surprised at how many playboy magazines can be found in perfect condition in estate sales in my city, and the kind of creativity that awakens from reading one from cover to cover.

Chicago, we were so good together 🛥️ in my white corset from @houseofcb 🤍⚓️🤍

🦢leaning over the edge of the riverwalk🦢 i felt so at peace in this photo, I would have been thrilled to fall over if it meant the river currents carried me somewhere I could hold onto that feeling forever.

#chicago #chicagoriver #riverwalk #chicagotravel #whitedress

I will know I am very loved when a kind, beautiful soul engraves my name into the side of their yacht. I always found that gesture so romantic. 🛥️🍾

At the reserve in my highest heels thinking about what kind of coffee to order… caramel for american coffees and black coffee for all other blends that taste best on their own ☕️ I prefer viet drip coffee and brasilian coffee

Live in New York for one night only 🎸🫀🗡️
𓌹𓆩ཐི‧⁺˚̣̣̣𑁬༺༒︎༻໒˚̣̣̣⁺‧ཋྀ𓆪𓌺

I left New York with the scent of Versace Eros Flame engulfing my black leather jacket, the taste of mango in my mouth, and a shattered camera body cradled in my lap. To take and to give happens everytime I visit a city alone. I always leave with everything balanced, and a piece of mine staying behind whether it is my jewelry, drops of my blood from a scrape, a nail, a strand of my hair. The offering being my camera shattering this time was the heaviest.

Not long after I took all of these photos, a mugger grabbed my bag so hard, he completely shattered my camera’s motherboard through her protective case. My reaction was entirely on impulse. I hope I bashed his entire upper row of teeth out when I hit him in the mouth with my concealed carry tripod. I was all fired up and on edge for the rest of my night in the city. What a rush. 🚬

Back to my druidess ways °❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･❀˖ °

photos taken between drinking sweet summer wine and skinny dipping in a lake under the warmth of the sun. i am so grateful i got to experience moments of peace and solitude at the lake home with how rarely i get time to just breathe these days. i would vanish into my own garden of eden forever if i was not needed anywhere else. let the honey slide. 🪴

One of these nights under the neon with new friends ⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ ࣪

I couldn’t ask for better strangers to sing karaoke with in Nashville. Getting caught in the rain in the dead of the night and interviewing fascinating people on broadway for my magazine was such a natural high. I can’t wait to see more and experience more again soon. 🎸

you know it’s just your foolish pride✯ ⋆༺𓆩☠︎︎𓆪༻⋆

✯ Roaming the Nashville scene in pursuit of the deep musical roots brought me to one of the coolest honky tonks on broadway. Layla Vartanian has owned this place for almost three decades, and she began as a street musician before taking over the bar with her partner at the time. When they split, she scratched his name off the sign and became the Layla we know and love today, offering her sick, signature beer in a can in the prettiest shade of blue. Of course I had to bring a six pack home. 🩵
“From 6 to 10 that day, 40 days in a row”

✯I also had the pleasure of meeting some locals while I was out alone and roping them into joining me for a photo or two ✯ I’m basically arthur morgan if he was a korean woman in nashville

save a horse, ride me ⋆ ℧ 𓃗 ℧ ⋆
Bull riding in Jon Bon Jovi’s nashville honky tonk left me with enough bruises on my legs to mirror a constellation. It was liberating. Already dying to go back to those sweet honky tonks on broadway!! ★ 𐂃 ★

I never would have guessed my work as a stylist would take me to the heart of country music ★

grad gala with my beautiful friends🪷 and dinosaurs rawr XD !!

I spent the evening with them walking through the museum’s exhibits and debating the ethics of resurrecting ancient species. I believe it’s entirely ethical to bring back dinosaurs with the right funding and DNA structures if anyone would like to sponsor my research. @fernbankmuseum

Thank you @windsorstore for designing a dress in the exact color match for the cover art of i wanna be adored by the stone roses 🤍

Lunar lady searching for fate’s echo in the gardens 🏹

The bellagio gardens were my last view alone in las vegas for this trip. I went there 3 hours before my flight in the middle of the night, and relaxed with the koi until i had to go. It felt almost as if they were wishing me safe travels home.

Fate is telling me to pong every tile I need for hong kong style mahjong in the library on a sunday afternoon. I learned from the best teacher on the west coast, listened to stories from people who have lived in Vegas their entire lives, and danced to depeche mode with some beautiful souls in the velvet embrace of @oddfellowsvegas 🖤

I drank tea in the mornings with another gentle soul. One spoon for our honey. Two blue mugs colliding with our pearl bracelets. Nothing else compares.
