-went back to the medieval christmas market

days 114 & 115- last weekend in berlin💔😭

-just two days of soaking up everything and everyone i love so dearly
-do not want to leave on saturday
-went to 2 cool awesome and amazing clubs/events
-i never want to leave by @kiersteninberlin

days 109-113: second to last week in berlin:((((

-final review was on tuesday👼
-got celebratory drinks and dinner now that we have like a month and a half off studio
-finally celebrated sofia’s birthday
-tried lap coffee since it opened on bergmannstraße and i hate to report that it was sooooooo delicious
-went to a former spy tower and ski? lodge that has turned into a museum and graffiti exhibition
-went to manyyyyy christmas markets to finish off getting gifts for everybody
-started our last week bender (not really a bender just trying new clubs and bars before we leave)
-also went to the spy museum - super fun and awesome and amazing
-finally got tacos that were actually good (cannot wait to be home and have real tacos)
-anyways feeling super emo about the fact that we only have 1 week left here and trying not to think abt it:/ by @kiersteninberlin

day 108: last day in paris

-owen found another bakery called pain pain and it was so delish
-we then continued on our way to montmartre (my fav neighborhood in paris)
-we wandered around outside of sacré coeur for a bit before wandering into the square
-unfortunately because it was raining there weren’t any vendors selling art which was disappointing so instead we got macarons and walked to la maison rose and the moulin rouge
-after a morning in montmartre we went out to the louis vuitton foundation in honor of frank gehry’s death (super cool building, rip frank gehry)
-dang had to leave us because his flight was early but in the afternoon we got pizza for lunch before splitting up
-i found a sports bar and watched lando win the f1 world drivers championship while nathan and owen went back over to the pompidou and la samaritaine
-i met up with them at la samaritaine and did some light shopping before grabbing crepes and hot chocolate and wandering around the louvre and the tuilerie gardens
-then it was time for nathan and owen to leave and i was a little sick so i just got some snacks from the corner store and did studio work for the evening before my flight monday morning☺️ by @kiersteninberlin

day 107: paris day 22222222222

-woke up bright and early to do some studio work (😒) before meeting everyone at musee d’orsay for our morning excursion
-saw tons and tons of beautiful paintings, photographs, and sculptures before running to complete my necessary purchase of the trip
-finally made it back to l’officine universal buly and did the whole waiting in line and purchasing some goodies
-after my shopping we went to a restaurant called gioia for lunch and had some delicious pasta
-in the afternoon we went over to the pompidou before going to see l’arc de triomphe and eiffelllll
-eiffel and i were finally reunited and i haven’t been happier🤓🤓
-post eiffel tower evening we went and rested in the hostel before heading back out for a french dinner at le vin coeur
-we got charcuterie and a bottle of wine and escargot and we had a view of l’arc de triomphe and la tour eiffel and it was sooooo cheap considering the quality of food, service, and the view
-after dinner we went to see eiffel sparkle before i dragged everyone to THE DUPLEX (aka where we spent most of our nights last summer) by @kiersteninberlin

day 106: paris day 1!!!!!!!!!

-finally made it back to the best city on the planet, this time in winter!
-to start the day all of our flights were delayed almost 2hrs because of the fog in paris so our day got off to a late start
-once we made it to the hostel we met up with dang and grabbed some ham and swiss baguettes for lunch before rushing to the train
-finally we made it to versailles!!!
-everyone was in awe and loved it and of course we had a photo shoot inside🤓🤓
-after a few hours wandering the palace and catching up we got on the train back to paris
-from there we went to the musee de l’orangerie to see monet’s water lillies!!
-this might be my favorite museum in paris bc its just soooo intentional and offers such a beautiful view of the work
-after another couple hours wandering both les nymphéas and the exhibit downstairs we wandered across the tuileries to the christmas market
-after the market excursion we were all starvinggggg so we found a cute restaurant called ferdi with such a cute interior
-i got a burger and a bellini and it hit the spottt
-nathan, owen, and dang all got more traditional french food such as foie gras but theirs were tiny portions so they also got a snack at the christmas market after
-turns out ferdi is a superrrr popular restaurant and we could only sit for 45min so dinner was quick but then we went back to the hostel to rest
-post rest we explored the neighborhood our hostel was in and found a cute little pub where we had a few drinks, chatted, and enjoyed the people watching by @kiersteninberlin

days 102-105 : 3rd to last week in berlin

-spent a lottttt of time this week on studio since review is on tuesday🤗
-had some fun with the cutest ferrets on our excursion with my sustainability class
-ate delicious schnitzel courtesy of the morris family (shoutout)
-went to a christmas market and primark and scored wonderful deals (not pictured)
-got cute drinks at mokkabar with ana and maggie
-spent probably too much money and time on cuccuma cappuccino and cinnamon rolls
-made a mediterranean/kebab style quesadilla wrap situation and it was delish
-ended the week how i always do on travel weekends with an early morning wake up to get on the ubahnnnnn by @kiersteninberlin

days 99-101: zurich + winterthur!!!!

-hiiiiiiii @elsies_swiss_adventures
-got to winti early friday morning and spent the day wandering around shopping and going to christmas markets
-friday night we went into zurich to their infinite number of christmas markets before getting a brat for dinner
-ended the evening with a cosmopolitan night cap before going back to winti to sleep
-saturday morning we got up and went back to zurich!
-got some yummy coffee and pastries before walking around old town zurich and the lake!
-we accidentally stumbled upon le corbusier’s pavilion before going to the chinese gardens
-went back to winti around 4ish to celebrate one of elise’s friends birthdays!!
-had a cutesy dinner and swedish daim cake before going out for the night in zurich
-went to a chill bar with a cocktail shaker shot called a telephone before going to a really cool club that was bazaar themed
-sunday was spent drinking more coffee and doing work at the library all day before my flight home🤗🤗
-overall loved zurich hated the price (too expensive for literally everything) by @kiersteninberlin

days 97 + 98: friendsgiving/thanksgiving 🦃🦃

feeling very thankful and grateful for this past semester!! not to get sappy but studying abroad has been amazing and wonderful and on this day of thanks just wanted to say i love all my amazing new friends and experiences and i miss all of you back home so much but i will see you all so soon☺️🤍

now into the recap

-we decided instead of trying to cook for a bunch of people to just go have a nice meal and ice skate!!!
-we got italian food and the cranberry gin fizz was a 1000000/10
-unfortunately my truffle pasta looked better than it tasted and lowkey destroyed my stomach for the eving so that’s not ideal
-anyways ice skating was sooooooooo cool
-we went to this place called dark matter that does different light exhibitions and events and they had an ice rink in the exhibit. so pretty and awesome
-the on actual thanksgiving aka today we had school:/ so first time ever having school on thanksgiving wasn’t great
-gave a presentation on taking down capitalism to save our ecology and environment and listened to hannah’s groups doughnut themed pres.
-then i cooked for jared and caroline and we had a nice big stir fry for lunch
-this evening there was a ciee held thanksgiving with real thanksgiving food so i had some yummy turkey and corn and a fun apple mint juice (not pictured)
-that’s all! i leave for zurich bright and early tomorrow so stay tuned for the content🤗🤗 by @kiersteninberlin

days 94-96: christmas market galore

-it snowed sunday night/monday morning!!!! so we woke up with a light coverage that all melted away by like 2pm but it was our first berlin snow! yay!
-got a delicious cinnamon roll from cuccuma accompanied by a cappuccino as usual
-for lunch on monday ran over to the market and got pulled pork penne and a yummy citrus and jelly donut situation
-then that evening we went to the lovely medieval themed christmas market!
- we enjoyed snacks and glühweine and a fire show!
-walker can be seen modeling our new mug and the different ways to incorporate it into your everyday fashion!
-the rest of my time this week has been spent doing exuberant amounts of environmental policy homework in prep for the presentation i had today
-and as always studio work with files that don’t exist!

day 93: nathan and owen in town!! (day 2)

-started the day at bagel bro then forced everyone to get cappuccinos at five elephant
-wandered to a vintage store (got nothing) before getting pastries at la maison
-it was absolutely freezing so we wandered to an oma building
-then we went over to the jewish museum! so cool and interesting and full of history, and it was free!!
-to round out our evening we went to the cutest jazz bar and i got a super yummy cocktail called “park lane”
-ended the night with a photo shoot in the ubahn of course by @kiersteninberlin
