/Supposedly/ pride month ends tomorrow. Do I stiIl celebrate it throughout the year anyways? Hell yeah. Especially by carving out my own joy, every way that I can, while still acknowledging my anger and growing from grief. Ladies, gaydies, theydies, and allies - that's how we keep the riot going 💁‍♀️🌈🔥 Respectfully, protectively, and unapologetically.

Photo Sequence:
1. Love wins. We are official 🥰 💖
2. Happy Cancer season 🦀♋️
(Pics from the Amazon in 2025 and Hawaii in 2023)
3. Mom!!! Look!! I'm a DJ now!
4. I made it to the 1000th episode of One Piece holyshityall (pic is not from that episode but this screencap is way too relevant. Things have never been fully resolved. Lots of the "progress" has been throwing a blanket over the root issues. Pay attention and act accordingly.)
5. I love my crew.
7. I officially entered the last chapter of my 20s last month. Tis been a blessing and a wild journey. Everyday, I am grateful for clarity and love.
7. Unfiltered joy (from 2024)
8. Where my spirit stays
9. The amazon says gay rights and we've been around longer than the english language

Yes, I haven't been posting as much I'd like to but so much has been going on from the personal to the universal. The rush and complete burn out are never worth it. We're taking our time, taking care of ourselves, taking care of our loved ones. We're staying aware of what's going on around us (and pace ourselves)!

And if you'd like to keep up with more of what I'm doing, seriously please go follow @bayokyo.official !! 👀 We've grown from a hip hop x anime showcase, to an artist group/collective of lovely and unruly cousins making dope art and music, and tryna build the communities around us. More to be posted on my page soon, just been busy cooking briskets & biscuits 👩‍🍳

Also I FINALLY started organizing all the memes saved on my phone. Feel free to comment "Everything is gay, including myself" and I will DM you a link to my pride memes folder on google drive 😘✌️

As always, much love 💞🌱

POV: You’re watching someone step into their power. ✨

You already know and love @kigbid for her signature art aesthetic on Bayokyo designs and merch. But true artists never stay in one lane. She’s been quietly living in the studio, stepping up to the 🎤, and finding a whole new way to speak her truth.

Between her locking in her first verse and @itsjayogier practicing emo-based back up vocals, the energy is coming together. 🤫🔥

Growth is uncomfortable, but that’s where the magic happens. Consider this your sign to try that scary new thing you’ve been putting off. taken in Oakland, California by @kigbid
