I am so grateful for this next chapter that I am about to begin. and all the greatness and chaos that’s going on around me, I can’t help but be grateful and more aware of the world that we’re living in. I am thankful for the struggles and the victories that I faced in living the life that I have but also taking a step out of my bubble shifts my vision and i’m just glad. in the skin that I have. 👏🏾✊🏾thank you to my tribe for always carrying me with the support that you have. as of june 1st, 2024, i am a graduate. of high school. even typing it out is weird and even weirder reading it back. 🥹 Number 1: Thank you God. He’s seen me through since day ONE. ☝🏾(My rock oooo!!)

as i’m adjusting to this new page turn, it leads into a new chapter I have yet to experience. people i’ve yet to meet, laugh and cry with, and learn about. as i moved out my room, i remember how this school, the classes, the opportunity, was unattainable and simply far from reality. how blessed am i to say that this was my reality? and that i did it?!? 🙏🏾.

my family!!! my tribe. i love you so so much. thank you for being with me every breath of the way. this is OUR diploma. 🫶🏾🇱🇷

to my new soulmates that welcomed me to my first and last senior year with kindness and support, i thank you🫂thank you to my amazing academic and arts teachers for guiding me through my firsts and seeing all my attempts (from my stage technique to playwriting to movement and some DNP ;) you saw me; and for that i am grateful. so grateful to have a family in you. thank you walnut hill. eternally apart of you. and you, me💜

my memories, feelings and family also lies in LAWRENCE! 💙growing up here has shown me the strength in tilting your head up and aiming on the constellation that you want to reach! no matter how DIFFICULT, how far, how long, and how many people will try and deter your way: keep it pushing
