See you this Friday! by @kike_ade

It’s been a wonderful summer, full of the most gorgeous of weddings, at the most stunning venues. I’d just like to say a huge thank you to every couple that have chosen me to be a part of their special day this year. It isn’t lost on me, how lucky I am to be a part of that.

Back in 2017, when I started my music degree, I’d never have imagined I’d have a “singing business” of any sort, never mind that I’d get to sing at weddings for a living. I appreciate every booking, every positive review & every recommendation wholeheartedly. I still have availability for 2027, and have started to book in dates for 2028 and will be exhibiting my “services” (aka il be singing and chatting to some lovely prospective clients) at the Big Cheshire Wedding Fayre at Nantwich Civic Hall at the end of the month!

If you or anyone you know is getting married & is interested in booking me for your wedding day music, please come down & have a chat! The event is a 2 day event, and il be exhibiting on the Saturday 26th 💖 #northwestweddingsinger #manchesterweddingsinger #weddingsinger #soulsinger by @kike_ade

As a girlie who runs her own ship independently, I take my business seriously. Comments like this will always mean more to me than “you were so good”. It’s not lost on me how lucky I am to get to be a part of special moments in people’s lives, so I pride myself on making sure the “service” is just as good as the singing 🥺 #gratitude #weddingsinger #rnbsoulsinger #manchestersinger #manchesterweddingsinger by @kike_ade

Been thinking about my childhood a lot lately, and one thing I’m endlessly grateful for — besides having truly stellar people to call Mum & Dad, the freedom to be as sassy as I liked while still being kept in line, and getting to be a proper kid with grazed knees and grass stains — is the exposure I had to wonderful, timeless, deeply formative music. There are a few more I could add but here a few of the artists that baby Kike heard, that arguably shaped & moulded this 27 year old, Neo Soul loving, huge hearted, sensitive, soulful singing, girlie that you hear today. 🥺

Music that felt like a warm, familiar and familial hug. Music that made me feel seen as a little brown girl. Music that shown that love, joy, struggle and pain can coexist. Artists whose voices, tones, and sonic brilliance made me want to sing & learn more about music. Artists that made it feel ok to not always “fit in”. Artists that lived and breathed authenticity. Artists who taught me what “timeless” meant in real time. Artists who made me understand “difference” but conveyed their lived experiences, and sometimes struggles, so beautifully and poetically. Artist who taught me what a SANGIN SINGER is. Music woven into childhood, somewhere between Dad’s car rides and Mum’s kitchen soundtrack. Music that shaped the artist I am today 🤍 by @kike_ade
