Because I did what everyone said a
girl from small-town New York couldn’t do.

In 2022, I moved 2,098 miles away from the only town I’ve ever lived in to begin the life I spent 18 years daydreaming about.

I enrolled at Northern Arizona University to study Environmental and Sustainability Studies in one of the most ecologically diverse regions in North America.

After my first year in college, I studied abroad in Costa Rica, which led me to add a second major: Spanish.

After my third year, I studied Spanish at two different universities in Spain.

That wasn’t all, though. During my 4 years, I collected a lot of college lore. From climbing to the H of the Hollywood sign to being diagnosed with a mental illness. I also had a lot of things in between, like living in my rv for a month, driving all the way to Alabama to see Lana Del Rey, learning how to ski, the birth of my sister’s firstborn child, hearing John Summit live as we rolled into 2025, and so much more I could yap and yap about.

After all that, I’m incredibly proud to announce I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Sustainability Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish.

I’d like to thank my friends Lily, Monique, and Lexi for always guiding and supporting me, and everyone else who has mentored me along the way.

And of course, my dad, for always believing in me.
