✨ UM NOVO ESPAÇO COMUNITÁRIO EM ARGANIL? ✨

Temos um espaço em Arganil que, no futuro, será a nossa lavandaria. Devido a alguns imprevistos técnicos, ainda temos algum tempo antes da abertura — por isso pensámos: porque não aproveitar o espaço para a comunidade entretanto? ❤️

Estamos a pensar num espaço pop-up temporário para:

👶 Encontros de pais e crianças
🎨 Atividades e workshops infantis
🧘 Yoga, Pilates e outras aulas
🧵 Artes e trabalhos manuais
🗣️ Grupos de línguas e conversação
🛍️ Pequenos mercados e produtores locais
🎄 Atividades sazonais
🤝 Workshops, clubes e encontros

✨ A NEW COMMUNITY SPACE IN ARGANIL? ✨

We have a space in Arganil that will eventually become our laundromat. Due to some unforeseen technical delays, we have a little time before opening — so we thought, why not make the space useful for the community in the meantime? ❤️

We’re considering a temporary pop-up space for:

👶 Parent & child meet-ups
🎨 Kids’ activities & workshops
🧘 Yoga, Pilates & other classes
🧵 Arts & crafts
🗣️ Language & conversation groups
🛍️ Small markets & local makers
🎄 Seasonal activities
🤝 Workshops, clubs & community meet-ups

We’d also love to hear from anyone who runs classes, workshops, activities or a small business and might be interested in using the space.

💭 What would you like to see in Arganil?
🙋 Would you use a space like this?
💡 Would you be interested in running something here?

🐾 DOG WELFARE — LET’S BRAINSTORM TOGETHER 🐾

Saturday 10th • 12–4pm

A casual afternoon for anyone who cares about dogs and wants to help make a difference. ❤️

There are so many dogs living their lives chained up in gardens, with little stimulation, companionship or quality of life. We’d love to get together and brainstorm practical, realistic ways we can help — both the dogs and the people caring for them.

No organisation, no expertise needed — just ideas, compassion and a willingness to get involved.

💭 What could we do?
🐕 How can we improve the lives of chained dogs?
🤝 How can we support owners rather than judge them?
🏡 Could we create local networks of volunteers, walks, foster support or enrichment?
📣 How can we raise awareness and encourage change?

Come along, bring your ideas, and let’s see what we can create together.

💜 DEATH CAFÉ — WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN! 💜

After the brilliant turnout and lovely conversations at our first Death Café, we thought… why not do it again? ☕️💀

So we’re opening the doors for another afternoon of good coffee, real chats and absolutely no judgement.

Death is something we all experience, but it’s not something we often get the chance to talk about openly. This is a relaxed space to chat about death, dying, life, loss, memories, fears, or simply whatever comes up.

No pressure.
No agenda.
No need to have the “right” words.

Just people, coffee, cake and honest conversation. 💜

📅 Friday 2nd October
🕛 12–2pm
📍 Kiko’s Place, Arganil

Everyone is welcome. Come for the conversation, stay for the coffee… and probably the cake. ☕️🍰

Let’s talk about it. 💜 by @kikosplace
