Happy birthday, mi amor @kikotsanchez!! Matthew says, I love you, Da-DAAH!

This year will always be the year that we said goodbye to our beautiful Party. You brought her home as a tiny little pup who fit in the palm of your hand (purchased for $40 off a Craigslist ad!), and you were her steadfast, adoring “Papa Kiko” for sixteen-and-a-half years. The love that the two of you shared was enormous, and I know that today she is sending you 47,000 licks from Heaven.

This was also the year that you and Matthew Marcos became inseparable. I always knew you would be a great dad, but wow — you are his hero, his best friend, the role model he emulates in every way, his whole world. Under your love, guidance, and devotion, he continues to thrive and grow into the most amazing, smartest, coolest little human. He sleeps curled up in your arms every night; follows you around the house to “help” with every project; melts into gleeful giggles when you play with him; sprints to you, bursting with pride, when he’s caught a new bug in his bug vacuum; counts out his kettlebell swings while you do your daily pull-ups; climbs into your lap with his “Curious George” storybooks; clings to you when he scrapes his knee. He looks like you, smiles like you, moves like you, dresses like you. And just like you, he’s such a little HAM, with an extremely expressive face, voice, and personality, and an undeniable flair for the dramatic. I fear he’s inherited your acting chops and is doomed to be an actor, too! You are the best father in the world, and Matthew is beyond blessed to have you.

Last night, Katrina and I attended the premiere of “Rescued,” a feature film in which I have a supporting role, at the @danceswithfilms film festival at the iconic Grauman’s @chinesetheatres! It was cool to see myself up on the big screen! And it was also great to see the completed film, which was written, directed, and produced by the talented @djhalesupreme. I’m so honored to have been part of this project and can’t wait for people to see this film! by @kikotsanchez

Here’s wishing the happiest of B-Days to my Dream gal, my beautiful wife Katrina! @fiercekatrina

This past year has flown by and it’s most likely because we are constantly chasing a crazy toddler around, but I know we wouldn’t have it any other way! Matthew and I are so lucky to have you in our lives. I thank God everyday that you are my wife, my teammate in life, Matthew’s mama, and just my Katrine the Dream! I have two films coming up and I know I booked those roles because you were my acting coach. I’m very grateful that I have you in my corner supporting our dreams! You are an amazing wife, an amazing mom to Matthew and do so much for our family day in and day out and I can’t express just how thankful I am for you!

I know you miss Party so much on this day.
