kil.n.it experimental ceramics studio is offering one studio space to an artist or artist duo for a focused 4-month project period.

A dedicated space in our shared studio at The Annexe, Glebe Town Hall, alongside three other ceramicists.

Book your spot to MAKE WHAT YOU LOVE workshop at Kil.n.it with Kil.n.it Studio Artist @sassypark • I’m delighted to participate in this year’s Sydney Craft Week with 2 x MAKE WHAT YOU LOVE Workshops.

With the closure of the Australian Design Centre earlier this year, we’ve lost a huge support to our creative community in Sydney and the wider region of New South Wales. Sydney Craft Week @sydneycraftweek is an ADC initiative and legacy project presented by @unswada -
MAKE WHAT YOU LOVE is my small contribution to it.

Join me for an engaging and accessible workshop exploring the art of small-scale ceramic figure making. Participants will sculpt an intimate clay bust, figure or object, working from personal or imagined subjects, and bring their forms to life with underglaze colour. The finished pieces will be glazed and fired and available for collection at a later date. To be held @kil.n.it experimental ceramic studios in Glebe, Sydney.

kil.n.it Experimental Ceramics Studio is offering one studio space to an artist or artist duo working on a specific, focused ceramics project.

The studio is located at The Annexe, Glebe Town Hall, and is available for 4 consecutive months:

📅 1 October 2026 – 1 February 2027
📍 The Annexe, 160 St Johns Road, Glebe
💰 $350/month incl. GST

The opportunity is suited to artists working towards a defined outcome, such as an exhibition, art prize submission, cohesive body of work or ceramics market.

The shared studio space includes shelving, work bench, sink, extruder and access to the Members Workshop at kil.n.it's Nurses Quarters location when available.

Applications close midnight Monday 21 September 2026.

Artists working with ceramics at the centre of their practice and aged 18+ are invited to apply.

Get @reshare_app • Thrilled to announce my next solo exhibition, Iterations, opening at Sabbia Gallery @sabbiagallery in Sydney. Join us for the opening celebration on Saturday 29 August, 3-5pm. All welcome.

With this body of work, I am interested in drawing parallels between the material nature of clay, abstract form, and the fundamental experience of being human. Beginning with a single mould, I use iteration as a conceptual framework for exploring difference within repetition, employing a spectrum of volume and flatness, multiplicity and singularity to address the fluidity and instability of perception.

Using my own glaze palette made from raw materials, I have created a body of tones and textures that influence the reading of the piece, allowing colour, light, space and form to speak subconsciously to the viewer, allowing for individual interpretation that draws on visceral and intuitive readings. I hope this body of work considers how we navigate ambiguity, construct personal narratives, and continually remake our understanding of ourselves and the world.
