💕 WHAT IF YOUR SMALL ACT OF KINDNESS BECOMES SOMEONE ELSE’S BIGGEST BLESSING? 🥹❤️

Sometimes, making a difference doesn’t require much. Just a willing heart and a little generosity.

As I prepare for Every Woman’s Marathon, one thing I want this journey to represent is that our impact isn’t measured by how much we give, but by our willingness to make a difference. 🫶🏾

We’re currently at $305 of our $750 goal, and I am beyond grateful for every person who has contributed to this mission!

Whether you donate, share this post, or simply help spread awareness, you’re playing a part in something meaningful. 💗

My prayer is that this journey inspires others to recognize that we all have something to offer, no matter how small it may seem.

Because when we come together, little things become BIG things. 🙏🏾✨

🔗 Donation link in my bio!

With love and gratitude, thank you for helping me turn miles into something meaningful. 🏃🏾‍♀️💕

Heavy chains, muddy waters, and a smile through it all! ⛓️💪🏾

My first Spartan Race reminded me that strength isn’t just about what you can physically carry, but about the mindset you have while carrying it. Every obstacle was another opportunity to push past my comfort zone, embrace the challenge, and remind myself that I CAN DO HARD THINGS!

And through it all, I was still smiling! Because there’s something beautiful about discovering just how strong God created you to be. 🥹💙

One thing about me, I’m going to keep showing up, challenging myself, and becoming the woman God has called me to be. One obstacle, one race, and one step at a time! 🏃🏾‍♀️🔥

DISTANCE DARE RACE RECAP 🏃🏾‍♀️🏅❤️

Another race, another finish line, and another reminder of how far I’ve come! Yesterday’s Distance Dare was one for the books! I felt AMAZING out there, strong, confident, and in control from start to finish!

I kicked things off with a 2-mile PR of 18:08, followed by 5 miles in 56:12, where my focus was maintaining my half marathon pace. And let me tell you, I felt GOOD! Not every race is about going all out. Sometimes it’s about trusting your training, finding your rhythm, and seeing just how much you’ve grown.

Coming from a collegiate sprinting background, I never imagined I’d fall in love with distance running the way I have. But God has a funny way of showing us that we’re capable of so much more than what we’re comfortable with. Every mile has taught me patience, discipline, endurance, and the importance of trusting the process.

With my first half marathon and full marathon ahead of me, I can confidently say I’M READY FOR WHAT’S NEXT! Not because the journey will be easy, but because I’m learning to embrace the challenge. I’m no longer just running to finish. I’m running with purpose, faith, and a heart full of gratitude.

One race, one mile, one stride at a time. The journey is just getting started! 💙🏅

DOUBLE DARE CHALLENGE COMPLETED! 🏃🏽‍♀️🔥🏅

Two races. Two different goals. One bigger purpose!

Started the morning off strong with a 2-mile PR of 18:08! 🎉 Then turned around and tackled 5 miles, finishing in 56:12! But the second race wasn’t about chasing another PR. It was about discipline, patience, and learning to trust my marathon pace.

As I continue preparing for my marathon journey, I’m learning that not every race is meant to be run at full speed. Some races are about building endurance, finding your rhythm, and trusting the process. Today was a reminder that progress isn’t always about how fast you finish, but how intentionally you run.

7 miles total, a new PR, and another step closer to 26.2! 💙

One race at a time. One mile at a time. One stride at a time. God is still writing this story! 🙌🏽

My FIRST Spartan Race! 🏃🏽‍♀️🔥💪🏽

Another first, another challenge, and another memory made! But what made this experience even more special was getting to share it with my friends and run club! 💙

There’s something so beautiful about surrounding yourself with people who encourage you to step outside your comfort zone, challenge your limits, and do hard things together. From the laughter to the obstacles, the encouragement, and every moment in between, this experience was about so much more than crossing a finish line. It was about community, friendship, and showing up for one another.

God continues to remind me that the journey is just as important as the destination, and the people He places alongside you make it even sweeter. Here’s to trying new things, making memories, and continuing to grow one challenge at a time! 🥹💙

This was the first 5K I ever signed up for, and looking back, I had no idea what God was beginning in me through one simple decision to run. 🥹🏃🏾‍♀️

Running has become so much more than miles, medals, PRs, or finish lines. It has become one of the places where I feel closest to the Lord. When my body gets tired and my mind tells me to slow down, I find myself leaning on Him even more. I pray. I worship. I talk to God. I ask Him for strength when I feel like I have nothing left.

Running has taught me so much about my walk with Christ. There are moments when it hurts, moments when I’m tired, and moments when I question whether I can keep going. But God continues to remind me that I was never meant to rely solely on my own strength.

What started as me simply signing up for a 5K became a journey of surrender, endurance, discipline, faith, healing, and growth. Every starting line reminds me how far God has brought me, and every finish line reminds me Who gave me the strength to get there.

I thought I was training my body, but all along, God was training my faith. 🤍✝️🏃🏾‍♀️

She built her whole identity on track and field — when her body broke down, she nearly lost everything. 🙏✨

Kilani grew up in a Christian household raised by a single mom. They called themselves Christians, but the lifestyle in front of her didn't match what the Bible actually described.

She became the first generation in her family to go to college, running track and field. And somewhere along the way her sport stopped being something she did and became who she was.

Then came the shin splints. The injuries. The slow unraveling of the only identity she had.

Depression set in. Then anxiety. Then suicidal ideation. She started therapy and kept going, but the hole kept getting darker.

Then one night God met her on her bedroom floor. She was lying there weeping, crying out, telling Him how tired she was. And in that moment she felt the heavy presence of God fill the room.

From that day forward her relationship with Jesus has never been the same.

Her message is simple and she means every word: depression and anxiety are real. We need to talk about them more. And you are not alone. You are loved. You are seen.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

She told God she was tired — and He met her right there. 💫

God can do ALL things, will you let Him?

Today was so much bigger than a 5K. 🤍✝️ I’ve run races focused on my pace, my time, and chasing a PR, but today none of that mattered. Today, my purpose was to stay beside Tayeler. This was her FIRST 5K, and before we started, one thing she kept saying was that she didn’t want to come in last. But today, she did. And I truly believe God allowed her to be last for a reason. Sometimes we’re so afraid of being behind that we forget our position doesn’t determine our purpose.

Everyone else had finished, but Tayeler was still fighting. Her body was tired, and there were moments when she felt like she had nothing left. We surrounded her, spoke life into her, and kept reminding her, “You got this. Keep going.” Then she found another gear. 😭 She started RUNNING toward that finish line, giving everything she had left, and watching her dig that deep had ALL of us crying. Not because she was last, but because we knew what it took for her to finish. We watched her choose not to quit.

And suddenly, the name Exercise Your Faith 5K meant so much more. ✝️ Sometimes faith looks like taking another step when you don’t think you have one left. Sometimes God allows everyone else to get ahead so you’ll stop looking at their race and focus on the one He placed before YOU. “So the last will be first, and the first will be last.” Matthew 20:16. Tayeler crossed that finish line last, but she crossed it surrounded by people cheering, crying, loving her, and believing in her. What a beautiful reminder that God never asked us to keep pace with someone else. He asks us to keep the faith and finish the race set before us.

Today wasn’t about first or last. It wasn’t about my time, pace, or another PR. Today was about finishing together. 🥹🤍 Tayeler, YOU FINISHED YOUR FIRST 5K! 🏅 I’m so proud that I got to run beside you and witness you exercise your faith one step at a time. Sometimes the victory isn’t finishing first. Sometimes the victory is having enough faith to keep going when everything in you wants to stop. We can do hard things, especially when we do them TOGETHER. 🤍✝️🏃🏾‍♀️
