Europe is in the hands of the youth and the workers. All over the continent, young people are standing up against the states who have discarded their futures in favour of militarism and appeasement of the billionaire class.

Why are these protests happening now? What is the reason that they are spreading so rapidly across national lines? What can we learn about state power from the brutality unleashed against protesters?

We'll be meeting for a coffee and a chat this Thursday at the TSI building on Maynooth Campus. If you want to develop a perspective that understands the potential and the strength of the youth and workers across Europe, come join us! by @kildare_communists

We reaffirm our unconditional support for the Cuban Revolution as it faces the gravest crisis in its history at the hands of US imperialism.

The restoration of capitalism in Cuba would be a defeat not just for the Cuban working class, but for workers across the world.

The best way we can help the Cuban Revolution is by fighting resolutely for the overthrow of our own capitalist ruling class at home, which is itself subservient to Western imperialism.

Long live the Cuban Revolution!
Workers of the world, unite!

Packed room for our Day School on Saturday — Ireland: from Conquest to Re-conquest.

We had excellent discussions about the Cromwellian Conquest of Ireland, the Rebellion of 1798, and finally, the struggle for a United Ireland today. All the sessions demonstrated that only the scientific method of Marxism is capable of understanding the real processes that have shaped Irish history for 800 years.

Like Connolly, we study our history not as an academic exercise, but in order to understand the lessons it holds for today's revolutionaries.

If you are ready to join us in the fight for a Socialist United Ireland in our lifetime, then head to communism.ie/join today to get organised!

On Saturday we held our biggest meeting ever! With 71 tickets sold, our day school on Irish history was a spectacular success.

As the flames of revolt spread across Europe, there's no task we can dedicate ourselves to that's more pressing than that of building the forces of revolutionary communism here in Ireland and, in doing so, raising our understanding of the rich revolutionary traditions that the Irish working class inherits today.

If you want to join us in this work, then head to communism.ie/join to learn how you can get involved!

On Wednesday 14 October, comrades stood in solidarity with striking public sector workers across Ireland.

300,000 public sector workers went on strike this week to demand a wage increase that lets them make up for the cuts to real pay they've been forced to take in recent years by the cost of living crisis.

We extent our full solidarity with all workers who went out on strike this week and we support them fully in their plan to come out again on Wednesday the 21st. The overwhelming ballots in favour of strike action demonstrate that public sector workers have been pushed to their limits and they are prepared to fight for a decent pay deal.

Simon Harris and Jack Chambers, for their part, have demonstrated that they won't concede to the workers' reasonable demands on the basis of polite negotiations, but only if they are forced to do so by the workers to make this country run every day.

Victory to the public sector workers! ✊

From Dublin to Gaza, we need an Intifada! ✊🇵🇸

One year ago, two million Italian workers demonstrated that the working class is the only force in society with the power to strike a serious blow into the heart of the imperialist, capitalist system that's responsible for three years of genocidal slaughter in Gaza, alongside countless other crimes.

Today, amidst another explosion of class struggle across Europe, from militant housing protests in Spain, to strikes by students and teachers in France, we once again see the immense power of the working class on display. It's only by linking the struggle against austerity and the attacks on the working class at home to the fight against imperialism, that we can finally put an end to the capitalist system that Lenin aptly described as "horror without end".

To help us build a revolutionary party up to the tasks presented by history and join the fight for socialist revolution in our lifetime, head to communism.ie/join today to sign up and become a member of the Revolutionary Communists of Ireland!

Comrades at the national demo for Palestine yesterday to mark three years of Israel's genocide in Gaza.

So-called ceasefires have done nothing to end the slaughter or give self-determination to the Palestinian people. The past three years have demonstrated that for Palestine to live, imperialism must die.

If you agree, then you should join us in the fight for world revolution! Head over to communism.ie/join to sign up today. by @kildare_communists

Cuba is under attack from US imperialism, who are trying to choke the nation into submission. The Revolutionary Communists of Ireland defend the Cuban revolution and its gains, achieved through the implementation of a planned economy.

As Marxists we stand against the forces of capitalist reaction. And we understand that only by building the forces of revolutionary communism can Cuba be saved from the strangle grip of American imperialism 🚩.

What is the cause of the housing crisis? How do we tackle it? Can reforms address the issue? These are the questions we'll be addressing in our public meeting.

If you want to learn the communist perspective on the housing crisis, and understand how to solve it, join us on Wednesday at 6pm by the John Hume tents in Maynooth University 🚩 by @kildare_communists

The average rent across Ireland is €1,336. The average rent in Dublin is €2,165, where an astonishing 79% of private homes are bought up by landlords.

We live in a country with 163,433 vacant homes and 17,885 homeless individuals. And that only counts those who access emergency accommodation.

The state pays half a billion a year in housing assistance payments to "support" those unable to pay their extortionate rents, while in 2026 only €205 million was allocated to housing infrastructure.

This is the chaotic and degenerate nature of the capitalist system, bleeding dry the workers and lining the pockets of landlords and private investors.

If you want to learn the truth behind the housing crisis and understand why communism is the only solution, join us next Wednesday ✊️ by @kildare_communists
