After 18 years, it’s hard to believe this chapter has come to a close. Softball has been more than just a game to me—It’s built me into someone I’m proud to be—on and off the field. It’s where I learned to push myself, to lead, to fall and get back up. It’s where I found strength I didn’t know I had.
But more than anything, it gave me so many memories with my teammates. These girls became my sisters, my second family. Together we shared victories, heartbreaks, long practices, and even longer bus rides. We grew together on and off the field. They’ve seen me at my best and my worst, and through it all, we had each other’s backs.
There’s no easy way to say goodbye to something that shaped your entire life. But as this journey ends, I’m filled with gratitude. Thank you, softball, for the memories, the lessons, and the love. And thank you, teammates, for making every inning, every laugh, every tear, and every moment count.
I’ll carry this game with me forever. 🤌🏼❤️‍🔥🥹🦬🤠
