People confuse transformation with becoming someone new.

Most of the time, transformation is subtraction.

Removing distraction.
Removing doubt.
Removing the parts of yourself that were never really you.

A sculptor doesn’t create the statue.

He removes everything that isn’t it.

Maybe that’s how life works too.

Growth isn’t always about adding more.

Sometimes it’s about cutting away enough that your purpose finally becomes visible.

Trying to be where I’m supposed to be.

Move differently.
Think differently.
Live freely.

Every family passes something down.

Sometimes it’s wealth.

Sometimes it’s wisdom.

Sometimes it’s fear disguised as security.

We inherit more than names—we inherit ways of thinking, definitions of success, and beliefs about what’s possible.

It takes courage to ask a question that generations before you never had the chance to ask:

“What if there’s another way?”

The hardest leap isn’t financial.

It’s psychological.

It’s choosing uncertainty over familiarity because something inside you refuses to ignore the life it was created to live.

Most people think freedom is the destination.

I think freedom begins the moment your decisions stop being driven by fear and start being guided by conviction.

Maybe that’s what growth really is.

Not becoming someone else…

But becoming who you were before the world convinced you to play it safe.

Still searching.

Not for a place.

I’ve been in this studio more times than I can count.

Filming videos.
Watching sessions.
Standing only a few feet from the microphone.

Yet I never stepped behind it.

Not because I couldn’t.

Because “one day” has a way of disguising itself as a plan.

This time, I didn’t walk in expecting to make a song.

I just wanted to hear my voice in a room I’d been putting off for years. To hear what it sounded like through different ears.

But life has an interesting way of rewarding movement.

Sometimes the moment you stop trying to manufacture inspiration is the moment inspiration finds you.

Maybe that’s because clarity isn’t something you think your way into.

It’s something you move your way into.

We spend so much of our lives waiting until we’re certain.

Yet certainty is often the reward for action—not the requirement.

Time has a quiet way of exposing that truth.

It doesn’t ask whether you’re perfectly prepared.

It only asks whether you’re willing to take the next step before the opportunity becomes another memory of “I was going to.”

Time is all we’ve got.

Not because it’s running out.

Because it’s the only thing we can never earn back. by @killa.eth

We’re taught to search for certainty, as if life is a destination with a clearly marked finish line.

Maybe that’s why so many people stop growing. They mistake arrival for purpose.

I’ve started to believe that the search is the purpose.

Not because every path is meant to be walked, but because every step reveals a version of yourself you couldn’t have met standing still.

Some people are called to inherit a path.

Others are called to carve one.

That’s why a life can’t be measured by the hours on a clock. Time has never created meaning. Intention has.

Freedom isn’t the absence of responsibility.

It’s the privilege of spending your life in pursuit of what your soul was built to create.

Maybe I’ll always be searching.

Not because I’m lost…

I had court… We spend so much of life asking God to move faster.

Maybe wisdom is learning to ask Him for something else.

To wait.

Not because He needs time…

Because we do.

The stars don’t rush to fill the night. They arrive exactly when the sky is ready to receive them.

Maybe purpose works the same way.

Maybe grace isn’t found in never falling behind. Maybe it’s found in knowing that even while you’re becoming, you’re still deeply loved.

Every lesson.
Every failure.
Every quiet season.

None of it exists to push you away from God.

It exists to shape the person walking toward Him.

So if this season has taught me anything, it’s this:

Don’t give up on me yet.

I’m still becoming who You already know I can be.

We’re all fishing for ourselves, but few of us realize we’re sitting shoulder to shoulder in the same boat.

Most people spend their lives focused on the line they’ve cast into the water—chasing purpose, security, love, success, peace, or simply a reason to keep moving forward. So focused on what they’re trying to catch that they rarely stop to look around.

The strange part is that we’re all doing the same thing.

Different stories.
Different circumstances.
Different dreams.
Different destinations.

Everybody is reaching for something just beyond their grasp, convinced their struggle is uniquely their own.

Yet beneath every ambition, every fear, every setback, and every victory lies the same truth:

We’re all trying to figure this life thing out.

Different hooks.
Different bait.
Different waters in our minds.

But the same ocean carries us all.

Maybe the greatest illusion isn’t that we’re alone.

Maybe it’s forgetting that while we’re all fishing for ourselves, we’ve been in the same boat the entire time. by @killa.eth

I wrote this song during a year (8th grade) where I felt like I was still searching.

Searching for purpose. Searching for direction. Searching for the next step.

Looking back, I realize I was spending so much time searching for where I was supposed to be that I wasn’t fully embracing where I already was.

God had me exactly where I needed to be. The opportunities were there. The people were there. The moments were there. I just needed to trust Him, seize the moment, and make the most of what was right in front of me.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still searching in some ways.

But now I know that faith isn’t always about finding a new path. Sometimes it’s about walking the one you’re already on.

Woke up to a flat tire this morning.

Could’ve looked at it as a problem.

Instead, I looked at it as part of the day.

Pulled up to get it fixed, and while they were working on the tire, a random dude walked by and asked if I was a content creator or YouTuber.

Told him nah, but I was about to shoot a visual.

Next thing you know, he’s in the video.

The shop showed love.
Bro showed love.
The moment showed love.

It reminded me that life is happening all around us if we’re willing to be present enough to see it.

Most people would’ve sat there scrolling their phone waiting for the tire to get fixed.

I decided to create.

One random conversation turned into a memory.
One flat tire turned into content.
One ordinary moment turned into something worth capturing.

Funny enough, the song playing is Vibe & Dope Shit — the first record I ever made on a Nipsey-inspired beat.

“Never straddle on the fence. You wanna take a scope inside my life, you gotta get behind the lens. You can never lose as long as you never quit. I gotta roll the dice and take a couple risks.”

That’s really what this season of life feels like.

Less forcing.
More trusting.

Less worrying about where I’m going.
More appreciating where God has me right now.

Every setback ain’t a setback.

Sometimes it’s just the route.

This record isn’t about anybody else.

It’s about you.

The way you see yourself.
The way you see your life.
The way you see your purpose.
It’s about you.

It’s about the parts of yourself you’ve overlooked.
The strength you forgot you had.
The purpose you’ve been searching for.
The light that’s been there the whole time.

So many of us spend our lives looking outward for answers, validation, direction, or proof, when the real battle has always been within.

Because how you view what you do will always affect how you do what you do.

Your perspective becomes your reality.

A blessing can feel like a burden.
A setback can become a lesson.
A closed door can become a new path.

The difference is how you choose to see it.

Maybe nothing around you has to change first.

Maybe you just have to open your eyes.

You don’t see it…

But you could.

And when you do, you start realizing that God has been working through you the entire time.
