The wait is almost over! Where’s everyone planning to ride this season?

#snowboarding #mountains #killaventures #winter #snow by @killa.ventures

My first year instructing I made close to nothing… I viewed it as my “internship year”. The friendships, confidence and growth I gained in the sport paid off more than any paycheck ever could! Now I’m heading into my fifth season teaching both skiing and snowboarding, and I wouldn’t trade this path for anything.

If anyone out there wants to come take a lesson with me this season, reach out!!

Learning, falling, rising, & owning it. I’ve been saying I want to try for years, and am finally feeling the push to do get out of the comfort zone. Huge shoutout to everyone who has been helping me get more playful this season.

HEADED TO BURNING MAN FOR THE FIRST TIME ❤️‍🔥

I’ve been to so many events, but the preparation for this has been *insane* as one of the core values is radical self reliance.

Breakfast holds a special place in my heart. I was raised in a breakfast restaurant and it’s always been my favorite food. Being able to wake up and share burritos with friends while camping or at events is so special to me.

I’ve had to practice a lot of self restraint to not start eating them because for real they’re soooo yummy. Literally, can NOT wait for the first morning out in the dessert 😋

Walking down the same trail has me day dreaming of the days ahead. by @killa.ventures

For almost 10 years, I dreamed about owning a van.

I spent years convincing myself I couldn’t afford the “right” one, so I kept waiting. Waiting until I had more money. Waiting until the timing was better. Waiting until it looked like everyone else’s dream setup.

This summer, I stopped waiting.

Instead of buying my dream van, I bought a 1998 ambulance that had already been converted into a camper. It wasn’t perfect, but it was possible.

Since then, it’s taken me to mountain passes, hidden campsites, trailheads, festivals, and some of the most beautiful places. It’s also tested my patience with breakdowns, repairs, and plenty of unexpected challenges.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it.

This ambulance reminds me that the life you want often starts long before everything is perfect.

Sometimes you just have to meet yourself where you’re at, take the leap, and trust you’ll figure out the rest along the way.

What’s one thing you’ve been waiting to do because it doesn’t look exactly how you imagined?

Did you really go to Oregon if you didn’t hike to a waterfall?

July 5, 2026 marked 3 whole years alcohol free.

I still struggle. I still get triggered. But I know that I need to allow myself to be present and flow through every obstacle in front of me, and every challenge that’s still to come.

I am proud of myself. I am proud of my consistency. I am proud that even on days where I want to stay in bed crying, I still find the strength to keep climbing. I am proud of the days I allow myself to rest and feel sadness, too.

I used to drown out EVERYTHING with liquor. But now… I simply allow myself to feel, and that’s something I am grateful for. It’s uncomfortable sometimes, but that’s where healing happens.

Cheers to another year on this journey 🤙🏽

First day of training on Mt. Hood: complete.

Today alone pushed me way outside of my comfort zone, and somehow that’s exactly how I know coming here was the right choice.

A week ago I was driving across multiple states wondering if I was crazy for taking this opportunity. Now I’m standing on a glacier learning how to coach snowboard tricks and getting ready for an incredible summer.

I honestly don’t know how I got here, but I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead… or for the kids we’re about to coach!

Here’s to growth, progression, and doing it scared. 🫶🏽 by @killa.ventures
