This drawing is dedicated to the souls lost under rubble. The dehydrated and torn men trying to dig and find them. The children who were forced to step into braver roles. The babies being cared for by stranger to stranger in hopes for them to see the light of day…

I’m here for finding solidarity within others. In an agenda we cannot pick and choose on, the liberation for all. Artists, let us continue expressing ourselves and others’ voices unapologetically.

Happy October 🍂 I want to try and do an animation challenge everyday this month, if I can’t I’ll do some sort of *nktober prompt. I wanted to do more with this but I’m tired of it. This took abt 5 hours while learning procreate dreams’ tools🙂 by @killdrae

I didn’t think I would lose a sibling so soon. I watched you age and you watched me change. Who is going to call me handsome and smoke a blunt with me?! We were supposed to grow old and rock in rocking chairs, sharing a blunt, talking about Pops and Uncle Bubz, laughing at how much we all have changed! THAMANTHA! I used pick on you cuz I was bullied my whole childhood, you were the only one I could roast cause it didn’t mean anything we knew you were so pretty and strong. I demanded more from you and you gave me that. You showed me you cared so deeply about myself I will forever miss the warmth you gave me. you were there when we got evicted in Dena cause that was your home too! My parents were your parents. My home was yours. You knew exactly where you belonged. I was always so worried about you, I TOLD YOU,”please ! Take care of yourself!” I knew you were living fast and I had always been scared to lose you. I knew these men took you for granted. And now we have lost you. Not only that girl but we were tortured, everyone told lies, we had to sit through a shitty ass funeral that didn’t acknowledge our relationship. You saw that I’m sure. You know how much we are suffering without you. Our light. There is so much to be angry about. But none of these physical things matter anymore to you do they? All that matters is the love we have and the way your name is used. I be damned watching phoney assez use your name in vain. I still get choked up at work and lose my appetite. I get angry. When I eat a steak I imagine you enjoying a steak, and then tears fall. I eat sweet things and imagine you eating them and I cry. You should be here enjoying the sun traveling the world and enjoying food as you did. To not have control on anything is something I have to accept as you did. I got so much anger sitting in my throat, but that’s another story, it’s about you Sammi and how much you were loved. I can’t wait to see you on the other side. We all love you. You were and still are everything. We can only try to replicate what you gave us. We will hold you to our very ends.
