Making memories with my bunch by @killey78

Being a wife means intercession…

Pleading before the Lord on the behalf of your spouse and covering him in prayer because your prayers are heard. Each and every time you have the opportunity to pray ask the Holy Spirit to show you how to pray for him that day.. He needs our prayers more than we’ll ever know yet the enemy is hell bent on keeping us from praying for our husbands on purpose. This year be intentional on covering him.

Today as we partner together our focus is simple …

We are thanking God for the gift of marriage. So many people are wanting to get married, in love with the topic of marriage or simply waiting on marriage either way you see it Marriage is a hot topic for many. Yet, God has found you with the opportunity in this season of your life to be married so be grateful for this blessing.

So today we are praying together in thanksgiving for the gift of marriage. Yes, it may not all be perfect but it is a gift that you get to live out together with your partner regardless of how good or hard it’s been.

As we partner together be in thanksgiving for the gift let us be in appreciation of the spouse you have. However long you’ve been married and whatever season you’ve been in together. Let us get the attitude of gratitude about your position in your marriage. by @killey78

Scripture reminds us to think of the things that are pleasing and worthy of praise. So today as you are standing in prayer for your marriage thing of those things Philippians 4:8

I’m super excited about tomorrow... we’re partnering together to pray over our marriages.

Why? Because we are the only ones that can and we accepted that responsibility when we said “I do”.

So as you prepare this evening for tomorrow ask the Holy Spirit to give you the grace to see your spouse through His eyes.

Playground Adventures with my crew by @killey78

It’s Wednesday and we are praying again to cover our marriage and our husband.

Just three points

1. Cover your marriage
2. Cover your spouse
3. Cover your position as wife

Remember it’s not about your frustrations in marriage but about God’s plan for your marriage

Fasting has a way of getting to the root. It slows us down, checks our emotions and forces us to bring things to God instead of carrying them into our marriage.

We show up differently when we’ve been in His presence.

And if you’re fasting for your marriage here’s what I’ve learned:

You’re not being dramatic.

You’re not doing too much.

You’re being intentional.

Fasting teaches us to:

• Pray before we speak
• Respond with wisdom instead of emotion
• Release control and trust God with the outcome
• Let God work on us while He works on our marriage

I don’t fast to fix my husband.
I fast because obedience changes me—and a changed woman shifts her home.

If you’re fasting for your marriage, keep going. God honors sacrifice that’s done in faith and humility.

This is quiet work.
But it produces lasting fruit.

Fast. Pray. Trust God with your marriage.

As the day winds down don’t forget to give God praise for all He has done today. by @killey78

Midday Check In

It’s hard to start praying for particular things and all of a sudden be bimbarded with the thoughts that say the opposite. As we are halfway through our prayer focus todY let’s shift our minds on the good things we love about marriage.

Scripture reminds us to think of the things that are good so we can fix our thoughts on those things. Then in turn we watch our countenance change on the matters.

Today as you are praying over your marriage think of these things — not the negative things that Satan wants to bombard your mind with and telling you that it’s not worth the prayer. Cancel the lies and lean into truth today.

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NLT‬‬
