Buoyancy, 2025

~46cm x 61cm (18 x 24)

Acrylic on canvas.

Police officer washing his face after being pepper sprayed during the January 6th Insurrection.

Never planned on posting this, but it caused a couple funny and interesting conversations during the exit revue for my BFA. I still don’t know how to feel about this one as it continues to feel like a test project, or color study.

comfort, 2026

oil on panel

46cm x 76cm (~18 x 30in)

Found image/found object, hence why the panel is all bent.

Imagery inspired by a large group of men videotaped lying on top of one another as part of a regional Pakistani police training course. These men are just resting.

Jane, 2026

36 x 30 in

Pastel, charcoal on mdf panel, found object.

Jane Britton, a Harvard graduate student who went missing on the night of January 7th, 1969. The following day, Jane was found dead in her apartment by friends and family. The crime attracted national media attention, as several factors led to a presumption that Britton’s killer had been an acquaintance, perhaps a fellow student or faculty member of Harvard’s anthropology department.

Two months before the crime’s 50th anniversary, Cambridge and Middlesex police announced in November of 2018 that they had identified a suspect in the case through DNA.

Michael Stumpter, who had died in 2001 after being paroled into hospice care from a prison sentence that he was serving for a 1975 rape.

To this day, this remains the oldest cold case to have been solved in Middlesex county.

Rest in Peace, Jane Britton.
