Respectfully, I’m just pointing out facts 👆 And I’m willing to back it up 👊💥 @pflmma @leahmccourtmma @criscyborg 2025 looked like this: 4 fights - 4 finishes by choke - 3 of those in the first round. Of my 4 subs this year, 2 were PFL vets, both of whom I finished in the first round. So who’s left? Here’s an idea: Leah McCourt. You could say we’re similar athletes, except I outclass her in every way. Take a look for yourself: MMA RECORD: I’m 7-2 with both losses rematched and corrected, she’s 8-4 with no rematches/no corrections. FINISHING ABILITY: I have 5 finishes (4 this year alone). She has 4 in an 8.5 year long career. BJJ ACCOLADES: I have 3 IBJJF world titles 🥇🥇🥇 at black belt M1 (2 of those in the open weight division) and one at purple. She only has one each at blue and brown. ACTIVITY: In 25 months of being a pro I’ve had 9 fights (that’s an average of a fight less than every 3 months) plus BJJ tournaments thrown in. She’s had 12 fights in 8.5 years and has been inactive for over a year now. SIZE: I’m 5’11 and cut hard to make 145. She’s 5’10 and thin. PROFESSIONALISM: I’ve made weight and followed through on all my fights. She has missed weight and pulled out from fights. Cyborg has called out Leah and already declined the match with me - but what’s the real reason? Answer: It’s a low-risk fight against someone with a large online following - aka, it’s a ticket seller. I’m not as “popular” (yet) and the risk I pose is undeniable. None of these 145ers can grapple with me - Cyborg included. When the fight goes to the ground, what’s going to stop me from finishing her too? Leah desperately needs a tuneup fight anyway after taking so much time off. It’s been exactly 12 years since that first day in the gym - borrowing an already-worn-that-day gi, doing my first hip escape, learning an armbar and RNC, meeting @ms_daemonette for the first time, looking around that dingy old gym and thinking to myself that something felt just right. Update: I have good and bad news from the doc. The good news is it’s nothing that won’t heal with some time and rest. The bad news is I actually have to take time and rest.So instead of being in the gym this weekend, I spent some time in nature with friends and out of cell service. Getting off the grid and into the great outdoors is a healing experience of its own. I’ll be listening to my body and easing back into things as my body allows, but I can’t imagine I’ll be out of competition for too long 🤞 #adventures by @killjoyjiujitsu

It’s been 11 years since Lyzz and I first competed in this pyramid together. I was just the emotional support black belt for this one (I’m injured - more about that later) but I’m grateful to be here and watch my bestie do her thing on these mats.
