Ever constantly trying to fight this imposter syndrome that overwhelms me when im not fulfilling my creative needs, but i remember me and the things that inspire me & i remember that its not too complicated, God has provided me with all the tools i need to say the things i want to say.

To be reminded of the beauty in things that mend together, that fit right in their purpose. Inspiration in things we already have, that we shut our eyes to

Our anatomy, our innate feelings to yearn, our connection to the water and the moon, our body working seamlessly together to stay alive.

Our consciousness and unconsciousness.

So to honour myself, im just creating. Creating with no purpose of sale, or of the world but to honour what is innately inside of me. Inspired by the things we look over, the magic of our shadows, of our ribs and nerves.

I cant wait to share this project w everyone, it has been flowing out of me, the beginning stages of a love letter to life. by @killlakeeks

Im trying to make 4/5 pieces this year for my portfolio and ive had this planned out for awhile but as the steps go on and the story of the collection continues i cant help but share. So this is piece number 2 ( a rough mock up ) .

The spine jacket, inspired by the thought of the hyper independent world we live in, a jacket for two people. Inspired by love, vulnerability and our spine.
