The Dales farming community has lost one of its most passionate, knowledgeable, respected and talented members. Frank was a friend to all, an important voice in the industry, and an inspiration to so many.

This loss is felt throughout the Dales and beyond, and Frank will be truly missed 🤍

Our thoughts and love are with Frank’s family, friends and all at @leegatefarm 🫂

Rest easy, Frank - a Dalesman through and through, forever in the hills 🍃

2026 was another wonderful year for entries across all sections. From cakes to preserves and liquors to fresh bread, nothing gets the tummy rumbling quite like the show morning line-up in the Produce Marquee.

Kilnsey Show & Sports Sheepdog Trials 2026 🐾

Congratulations to our 2026 Champions: Janine Ashworth and Lassie 🏆

SHEEPDOG TRIALS are a competitive working event in which the handler directs his or her dog across an open field to gather, move, and pen a small group of livestock using only whistles and voice commands. Originating from everyday hill-farming tasks, Shepdog Trials test the communication, intelligence, and control of working breeds, like the Border Collie. Ha9ondlers remain stationary at a designated post while their dogs work hundreds of yards away.
