It works! After a year of hanging on the wall, I upgraded the battery pack and it still works! I made this thing!

I have to admit, putting these two guys in a photo together is stranger than I thought.

Over seven years apart, these two men never met, never spoke... But if they could have.

If the guy on the left could tell the guy on the right what joys his anxiety was going to steal before he finally got it under control. How much therapy was going to arm him against his own brain. How much he'd love riding a Onewheel (until it broke him). How many miles he'd travel. The friends he'd make. The places he'd see.

And how the simple act of losing weight would somehow be both simple, with the help of medical science, and incredibly hard because he first had to admit he needed that help.

I don't love regret. I don't tend to wallow in it for long.
But I regret not getting a hold of my health sooner. taken in Yellowstone National Park by @kilroyperrywinkle

Some nights...

Life feels like meeting people in the dark and coming back with a handful of stars. Remember to say yes, when given the chance between staying and going?
