🔥How I made this Gaussian Splat x Video
.
.
1) Try to keep your camera as stable as you can to record your videos
2) Having more light in a room is wonderful but you’ll also be surprised by low light situations - so experiment
3) Your first render of a Gaussian splat is beautiful and the fading in with dots is a visual added within Luma AI’s render - I’ll often take the first render then create custom keyframes and rerender for different angles 🔥.

Super tip: if you’re recording is long I splice it up and render those short clips 👹

Rendering Gaussian splats take a bit of time to be patient.

Walked into @tiat.place for a workshop with Zachary Lieberman 👀!!

Zachary Lieberman is a pioneer in creative coding and artist using technology to explore the relationship between humans and machines.

The talk “body as the interface” explores how the body can become an expressive tool for creative computation!
we learned how to connect our own movement and gestures to create visual outputs in the workshop.

I wish tiat was closer to mee …this was all a side quest during config but I’m so happy I finally got to meet @empowa 😩 who’s an incredible artist and creative technologist!!

updates and these are some that caught my eye 👁️

Figma is making is clear that code is just another layer for us to interact with — but where its visual is still on the canvas.
.
.
I think this is pretty interesting as I still want a layer to design and build with that is outside of my local environment!
All the shader, motion graphic releases were really cool too and with some help from AI — I was hesitant because ai sucks at giving you layers but Figma updates made sure to clear that up by showing us the timeline 😂.

I have lots of thoughts on these releases what did you think?
