This is the same reason, my client who scaled from $10k/month to a $76k and then a $115k/month and million dollar year said to me ⤵️

“Thank you for always believing in me that I could reach this goal. I had a hard time believing!

I remember kind of laughing at how sure you sounded.

It was a gift to see you believe that I would level up in massive ways because I was not going to be the first to do it.”

YES, your business model, offer, and marketing and sales strategy matters.

But what matters just as much is your ability to back yourself when everyone else is telling you it’s “unrealistic” to go after what you want.

Or when people are questioning “Who do you think you are?!”

Especially when the person who’s wondering the loudest is actually YOU.

Something my coach said to ME 6 years ago that I pass onto my clients today is “You can borrow my belief in YOU until you have it for yourself”.

Because I’ve seen what a difference belief makes — like a $100k/month difference!

So, if you’re having a day, week, or month (or even year) where you’re starting to think your business goals are unrealistic and who do you think you are…

Allow me to remind you WTF you are and lend you my belief until you have it for yourself.

❤️if you’re with me + send this to a biz bestie you believe in so they can borrow your belief in them! taken in DUMBO, Brooklyn by @kimargetsinger

Just because you’ve “got it” doesn’t mean you’re meant to hold it all or do it all.

I know one of the biggest growth edges I’ve had as a high achiever who’s also hyper independent is admitting when I’m not fine, or the situation isn’t ok, and learning how to ask for support 💁🏼‍♀️

Because us high achievers tend to have a large capacity and sometimes an even bigger tolerance for BS.

And hyper independent and high achiever or not, the bigger your business and life, the more decisions, relationships, and responsibilities that come with it.

I hope this helps normalize the entrepreneurial experience and reminds you what I often like to say, scaling isn’t a solo sport, and you’re not meant to hold or do it all alone ❤️

In many ways, 2016 was one of my harder years, but it was also one of my most exciting and rewarding.

It was the year I started my business and a year I grew so much.

Looking back, I can see how even the challenging moments were catalysts for everything good I have today…everything really was always working out for me and the dots were always connecting.

So, whether you think 2026 is the new 2016 or think that’s the dumbest trend…

I think it’s a good reminder to thank our past selves for what we went through, have overcome, and for who we’ve become.

And, evidence for how much is possible in a decade as we look forward to the next ten years and who we’re stepping into and becoming next ❤️ by @kimargetsinger

Trigger warning‼️

Please skip this if necessary and come back tomorrow where I will share about those fierce women and my takeaways from the weekend.

I also keep thinking, I bet it’s more of us than that, which doesn’t include how many of us have been SA’d, gotten unwanted or inappropriate passes, touches, or passed over because we refused advances or to behave a certain way.

Because aside from brave people like Jane Doe, who’s actually reporting anything?

Most of us stay silent because we can’t prove it. Because we’re scared of the backlash. Because we’re worried our clothing or behavior will be weaponized against us.

Because it’s locker room talk and “boys will be boys”.

Because we’ve been told we’re overreacting and imagining it.

Because it’s our fault we had that drink, smiled that way, or look the way we do.

I know after I was drugged and had two guys do their own version of the Cornell 7 on me in high school, I was told I deserved it.

Even after they told me what happened and apologized, I carried the blame and shame.

To this day, there’s a part of me that thinks maybe I did invite it in.

And I’m a smart, therapized and coached, successful and well-resourced 44-year-old business woman with no one else to answer to.

It takes A LOT to speak up and even more to press charges, and it comes at a price we all keep being reminded of.

So when you hear about Jane Doe or the victims in the Epstein files and wonder if they’re making it up or overreacting…

I’d consider what’s more likely is that they’re still underreporting and taking accountability for what isn’t theirs.

Nobody makes it up worse than it was. We tend to dismiss, disassociate, or take responsibility instead.

At least that’s been true for every victim I know, and I sadly know more than the stats say among my friends, peers, and clients.

So after this weekend, I also can’t help but wonder how many of us are fierce because we’re acknowledging our righteous anger and holding the right people accountable instead of blaming ourselves. by @kimargetsinger

I love me some data and regulated, rational thinking.

I’m strategic AF.

I will math and plan the shit out of anything for you (see my nerdy binder example).

I’m a responsible, eldest daughter type who can figure out and make shit happen.

And today is not only the day I celebrate my first love and another year “making it” in NYC, it’s also always a day I celebrate the magic in and all around us.

It’s the day I’m reminded of the power of being just delulu enough and how much is possible for any of us when we’re willing to give ourselves a chance, tell our fears to simmer down, bet on ourselves, and go all-in.

It’s also the day I’m reminded we’ve all survived everychallenge until now. Meaning, none of us have ever been handed something we can’t handle.

So of course we can go after what’s next and trust whatever it delivers is something we can figure out.

And when we do, it’s not a matter of IF, it’s a matter of WHEN we get everything we want and so much more.

Because today, 13 years later, I’m also frankly in awe of how much one decision has positively impacted EVERY aspect of my life in ways past Kim could never have imagined.

I moved here single, without a job, searching for what I was meant to do and be when I grow up.

This morning, I had breakfast with my hubs and friends with views of Manhattan.

I’m about to check in on my clients I adore for the business and work I pinch myself I get paid really well to do.

I’m signing a loan application for the dream loft I’m buying thanks to my business, before going to see my own coach of 8 years tonight for drinks to kick off a NYC retreat weekend.

It’s New York or nowhere for me, and I’m so grateful for the inspiration, teacher, and expander it continues to be.

You might think NYC is smelly, expensive, and too loud 🤣 so the point here isn’t that my dream should be your dream.

But in a world that’s heavy and heard, I hope this will remind you the magic you have inside you and the power in allowing yourself to believe in yourself and your dreams.

It’s cheesy, but I believe they aren’t put inside us on accident and we’re all so much more capable than we realize ❤️ by @kimargetsinger

Maybe this is just that same romanticizing and the story I tell myself to sleep well at night…

but I sincerely believe it would’ve felt MUCH harder if I had taken the path everyone told me would be easier.

In fact, I know so.

Because months before this, I gave that a shot and landed a “real job” doing admin at an architect’s office.

I also got a real job’s salary along with it.

Both were actually hard for me.

It was also hard for me, and not my proudest moment, when I put in my notice just a few months later and returned my holiday bonus along with it.

Choosing what everyone told me would be “easy” was in fact the hardest part of my journey.

It always has been, which is why I prefer to pick my hard.

Because I think we say “easy” and mean “safe”.

And I think we also say “hard” when we see an option that’s not mainstream or has a more unknown outcome.

When what’s actually hard isn’t the location, circumstance, or job, it’s trying to fit yourself into someone else’s box for you.

It’s giving up on your dreams.

It’s doing what you’re “supposed to” and “have to” instead of what you choose to.

It’s ignoring what lights you up, tugs at your heartstrings, puts you in flow, fires you up, and plays to your superpowers in exchange for what’s expected, conditioned, or works for someone else.

So, I don’t know, maybe New York and business *are* hard, but I sincerely think, for ME, because they’re in alignment and both fuel me, not choosing either and picking what’s easy would’ve actually been the harder path and life.

I’m unpacking all my thoughts on this one over on Substack.

You’d be surprised at what my most successful clients bring to session.

I’m a high level business coach, and believe it or not, my brain is actually more strategically wired.

So it’s not mutually exclusive. Your girl can be great at unpacking deep shit and strategizing a sales funnel or optimizing ads 🤷🏼‍♀️

I also see through every single one of my talented, brilliant, and successful clients how it’s all connected. And in that way, what’s personal and how you think and feel *is* strategic.

What about you, friend? Have you experienced the same as a CEO? Or is there anything people told you wouldn’t work at the start that you’re so glad you trusted and doubled down on? 👇🏻 by @kimargetsinger

I met my husband on Tinder about 12 years ago when it was considered a hook up app.

At the time, the narrative was swiping right was just for funsies, and you’d only meet players and non-committal types.

I realized pretty quickly, though, it wasn’t the app.

It was what someone wanted and expected, how someone showed up, and who they were being that determined who and what type of relationship they attracted.

I just happened to have drawn a line in the sand a week before that I was ready for and only available for my person…and showed up with that expectation, boundary, and way of being.

I wasn’t using Tinder as a hook up app, so it wasn’t one.

Posting on IG, using ads, personal outreach, email marketing, in-person networking, content, etc, all of it’s no different.

They’re only “gross” if you use them that way.

At the end of the day, it’s all about who we’re being, our preconceived expectations, and how we’re showing up to build relationships on any app, platform, or with any strategy that determines our results the most.

P.S. To be clear, I’m not suggesting only wanting to hook up is “gross”! But I am suggesting being an a-hole in someone’s DMs is 🤣 by @kimargetsinger

It’s the last two slides for me, because sometimes the riskiest thing we can do is be overly responsible and fixate on what we’re most worried about.

And this is a lesson I have to re-learn and re-wire again and again at every level, and with every expansion.

Last year it was in business, right now it’s in real estate.

And that $32 glass of bubbles is less about getting a place and so much more about a signal to my nervous system and subconscious that I’m safe and can trust good things and feeling good.

So if you’re wired similarly, I’d invite and encourage you to ask yourself what you’re celebrating in advance…and then go do it 🥂 by @kimargetsinger

We’re living in a call out culture.

As someone who’s gotten hate over posting about politics and pizza, what I know is there’s no way to avoid pushback unless you just don’t share your voice or stay as generic and vanilla as possible.

Because if PIZZA can’t make everyone happy, nothing can 🤣

Call out culture is also ironically what’s helping some creators go viral with their commentary on this ad.

It’s also a big part of what makes some of my 1:1 clients freeze and shrink back from sharing what they actually think.

And look, I’m not comparing this to pizza. This campaign hits on a lot of nuance and deep topics.

That’s why it’s getting a lot of backlash from female athletes

anyone who’s had it with the patriarchy

feminists

people on the left…

people on the right eye-rolling people on the left

And people concerned with betting apps.

Wherever you fall in the commentary, it’s a reminder of the self-trust, conviction, and regulation we need to be able to hold what comes with more visibility.

Bless our parents, teachers, and the generation that reinforced this message.

It gave us a great work ethic 😅

And it also taught us there was no end we could reach that would ever be enough or considered our best.

That the outcome didn’t actually matter, only how much we worked for it.

Or winning wasn’t as praised as how much we suffered for it.

Or love, acceptance, acknowledgement, validation, and even safety were the byproduct of how much we took on, overextended ourselves, over functioned, or how hard we were willing to make anything.

Which makes it tough everywhere in life, and especially in business when you’re scaling…and the whole goal is to have your revenue increase more than your expenses and efforts.

Aka to make more money and take home more of it without working harder for it.

So ya know, a loving reminder, that a message can come from a well meant place, and you can still internalize it in an unhelpful way.

And, a reminder, you’re allowed to “win” and be wildly successful without suffering for it. Your best can also be what feels easeful and comes naturally to you. by @kimargetsinger

The irony in how long it took me to get the edits app to cooperate for this “easy” reel isn’t lost on me 🤣

But editing and tech aside, today I would tell you posting content FEELS easy for me.

But I’d also say the same thing about doing 9 unassisted pull-ups that only a year ago not only felt impossibly hard, they also weren’t even on my radar as possible for me.

I feel like pull-ups are such a great example of content and all things business because objectively speaking they ARE hard to do.

There’s also a lot of messaging out there reinforcing that and how few women can do them.

So I had plenty to overcome in my mind to get my brain on board with even trying to do them.

It took training and reps you can’t see behind-the-scenes for me to get my first unassisted one.

Going from 0 to my first and second unassisted pull-up took 100% more effort than it did to go from my 8th to my 9th.

Now that I can do 9, it’s really only that last one or as I’m stretching past my current upper limit when I go for my 10th that I struggle a bit, hit a wall, or have a lack of belief in my ability.

I also actively look forward to them now, have fun doing them, and catch myself daydreaming about them (I’m a weirdo, what can I say?!).

But that wasn’t the case when I started.

And, it’s been a similar journey with posting content and pretty much everything in my business that looks easy from the outside looking in (marketing, sales, booking clients, making money, etc.).

Most of it actually does *feel* easy today.

So much so, that just like with my pull-ups, I have to remind myself that wasn’t always the case, and that’s not because it actually is easy.

I’ve just worked through my mind trash, am past the learning curve, and have been putting in the reps long enough to have built up endurance and muscle so it’s fun and “easy” without getting sore.

More importantly, and maybe my biggest hack for making posting content easy, I’ve also “picked my hard” and fallen in love with the process and journey 💪🏻💃🏼❤️
