Tulum is growing, the town is getting closer and closer, but we are still thankfully lost in the jungle. Endless gratitude for our friends across the ponds @ay_video for sharing some spectacular frames from their amazing videos of @jocelynlo and @justinkiat’s magical wedding last year 🤍

Deep in the uncharted jungle of Tulum lies a hideaway we long to visit. With its untamed landscapes and thoughtful design, @kimatulum redefines destination weddings, offering intimacy within 2.5 acres of private paradise. Weaving in earthen materials and contemporary touches, founders Dorothee and Enzo have created a space where nature and architecture exist in perfect harmony.

The holiday season always feels very different in the jungle. No shopping frenzy, no snow, nothing that reminds us that the end of the year is upon us. Wishing you all a peaceful and grounded last month of 2021. Whatever the world is throwing at us. This photo we love from @klaudiadamiak @channelbeju @jshudesign was the best way we found to express the feeling of peace We wish upon everyone

An evening to remember at Kima, Tulum.

Still dreaming about this beautiful celebration from last April. The soft draping, the chandeliers hanging among the trees, the warm glow of candlelight as the sun went down… Every little detail came together to create something truly special.

There’s something I love so much about weddings that feel completely connected to their surroundings, where nature and design come together so effortlessly.

Beautifully envisioned by @hugomartin_weddings🫰🏻, in one of my favorite places in Tulum, surrounded by the wonderful people behind Kima. Couldn’t have asked for a better setting to capture it all.

One of those evenings I wish I could relive. 🤍 by @kimatulum

Tulum has a way of making everything feel a little more magical. The jungle, the light, the people we love all in one place. Their day was exactly that.

A strong venue doesn’t need more design. It needs the right design.

At @kimatulum, the layout is already shaped around the Tulum jungle a house immersed in nature, with spaces for the ceremony and celebration that exist within the landscape rather than apart from it.

Our approach was to build around that concept, not cover it.

We kept the palette soft and the styling restrained, using warm neutrals, natural textures and carefully placed floral elements to create contrast without competing with the surroundings. The pool became part of the composition, while the existing tree and bougainvillea created a focal point no installation could replicate.

For us, design starts with reading the space correctly: knowing what to add, what to enhance, and what is already perfect exactly where it is.
