I knew fighting for my endometriosis diagnosis was important for women’s health. I also knew I was going to alchemize everything.

For the past few years, I’ve been diving into womb healing. I’ve sat in many ceremonies. With truffles, with cacao, with people, with myself. But most importantly, once I entered the waters of my womb, I never left.

When you start listening to your womb, when you get to know her seasons, you are guided in a way that is hard to explain.

My periods changed. Sometimes I’m still in pain, but never without a deep love for my body and all the work she does.

Might ruffle some feathers but too important not to talk about ✌🏼

As someone who was mistreated by the current medical system, I turned to natural remedies. It wasn’t because I wanted to but because it was the only thing that was there for me. Safe to say it changed my life.

For the past years I’ve been diving deep into the gap between men and women’s health, the witch trials and everything related. I needed a logical reason for my 10 year road to diagnosis and the lack of research on the female body and I found it. It’s painful, infuriating and scary.

The witch trials unfortunately never ended. Women around the world are still being burned.

We need a new world where women can share their knowledge to help their communities without having to fear for their lives.

Go outside, look at the herbs in your cabinet, talk to the women around you and get to know your body.

I know we need strong hooks and short content to satisfy the algorithm but if there’s one thing Cacao teaches me it’s to slow down.

I am so grateful that I got to spend a week in Guatemala to learn about Cacao. It was a week full of ceremonies, classes from amazing facilitators and Mayan wisdomkeepers, meaningful conversations and new friendships.

Cacao found me when I needed her. She speaks softly and creates space for you to work through things when you’re ready. She nudges you in the right direction and makes sure you feel her warmth all the way.

Womb work is like a deeply personal puzzle and Cacao is one of the biggest pieces of mine.

This weekend I asked the mushrooms what I needed to see, and I was transported back into my mother’s womb.

Safe to say it isn’t always pretty, but you get what you ask for. I’ve been integrating for days. It’s not easy when trauma comes back up, but I do believe we can learn so much from it. Mushrooms, meditation, somatic practices, and journaling have my heart.

Can’t wait to one day guide people on their journeys, but until then I’ll sit and sit and sit with it. I’m eternally grateful to the earth for providing us with this beautiful medicine.

I’m grieving and dreaming of the life I want. The life I have. The women who came before me would be jealous. And that has always been the problem. Glad I was shown that I do not need to constantly please, that I deserve the space I want, and that life is something to be celebrated 🍄‍🟫 by @kimberleybron
