I’ve been a little MIA lately and honestly it’s because I had to lock in. Sometimes the biggest investment you can make is in yourself and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

For a long time I was so focused on making sure everyone else was okay that I wasn’t always choosing myself. This journey taught me that growth requires sacrifice. It required saying no to distractions and putting your goals first. Sometimes it means missing out. Sometimes that means being a little selfish with your time so you can build the life you want.

Over these last several months I’ve been focused on school my business my goals and becoming the woman I know I’m capable of being.

This journey taught me discipline.

It taught me consistency.

It taught me the importance of choosing myself.

The older I get the more I realize that knowledge, growth, discipline and self-respect will take you farther than trying to be everything for everyone.

Today I get to celebrate all that hard work.

Not because I earned a piece of paper but because of the person I became while earning it.

And if there’s one thing I’ve learned through this process it’s that nobody is going to chase your dreams for you. You have to be willing to put your head down stay disciplined and keep going even when nobody sees the work happening behind the scenes.

Here’s to choosing yourself growing evolving and never stop learning.

Knowledge is power 🎓🥂✨
