Strike a pose, there’s nothing to it 💃🏻

If you know, you know… the opening with my arms stretched out is straight out of Madonna’s Vogue music video 😁

The other day me and @shotsbylule showed up almost wearing the same outfit, and I told her about this idea I had in my head that I wanted to try out.

So yesterday afternoon we walked through our hometown Bern, Switzerland: through the old town, Bundeshaus, Zytglogge and Münsterplattform and recreated this trending reel with our own twist.

Honestly, having friends who are always up for spontaneous creative ideas is the best. We had so much fun shooting this🥹

Blissful frames from Emmental Valley 🌿

Rolling hills, crickets in the background, sheep bells echoing through the valley and spending time with my good friend @macoooy25

Time has been busy lately, and I haven’t been out creating as much as I’d like. Emmental is one of those regions I always come back to: a place to slow down, avoid the crowds and just reset. I don’t get here as often as I’d want to, which makes it even more special every time.

This spontaneous trip out here, enjoying these simple and quiet moments, was exactly what I needed.

My summer in Switzerland 🇨🇭

This is pretty much how I love spending my summer: hiking through the Swiss Alps, waking up early for sunrise hikes, and staying up late to capture a Milky Way Timelapse behind the Matterhorn.

We were also lucky enough to see the Perseids shooting across the sky, which made staying up all night even more worth it.

I also wanted to show a different side of Switzerland : the incredible landscapes, the glaciers but honestly sad to see the glaciers melting over time…

There was a lot of hiking with probably way too little sleep. But honestly, I wouldn’t want to spend my summer any other way😍

The Sony Kando Trip Alps was such a special experience, filled with inspiration, creativity, learning, and so many beautiful connections — like with my girl @andeast , whom I got to meet last year, and who I now get to host workshops with for women to explore their creativity🥹🫶🏼

I’m incredibly grateful to have spent these days surrounded by inspiring creatives, exchanging ideas and learning from each other.

Crazy sunrise hike🥾

Started hiking at 2:40 with barely any sleep and a heavy backpack packed with all the camera gear we thought we’d need.

A steep climb awaited us, with plenty of loose rocks, and we lost the trail somewhere along the way while getting swallowed by the fog. But luckily, the sky started to brighten, casting some light on our way, and we finally made it to the top just as the sun started to rise.

Watching the first golden light hit the mountains was one of those moments you wish you could freeze in time. At the same time, it’s sad to see how much the glaciers in the Swiss Alps have retreated. Moments like this make you realise how precious and fragile these landscapes really are.

I’ve never been so exhausted after a sunrise hike, but I’m so happy to have a hiking buddy like @cb_photos_ch ch to share these adventures with. It was worth every single minute🙈🏔️📷

Two Light Trails✨

This is something I don’t often do with long exposures, but it was actually a lot of fun to experiment with.

We came here twice just for this shot. The first time, the wind and rain had other plans, so after trying our best, we had to leave and come back a few days later.

On the second attempt, everything finally came together at dawn. And then came the lucky part: a bus passed through at just the right moment, leaving two beautiful light trails - one from the headlights and one from the lights at the top of the bus.

Back to the Mountains🥾🇨🇭

Now with vacation starting, I’m definitely ready for more early mornings, long hikes and getting out into the mountains. Sunrise hikes are still my favourite: there’s just something about watching the first light come through and seeing all the mountain layers slowly appear.

Your holiday becomes a movie😍

I think I got a little carried away in Da Vinci Resolve 😅

My sister @jennifer.lourdez and I spent an unforgettable few weeks in Indonesia and Malaysia. From a private 3-day jungle trek in Bukit Lawang, watching orangutans and Thomas leaf monkeys in their natural habitat, to hiking Mount Sinabung at sunrise, rafting back down the river, visiting local villages where we learned about traditional bamboo craftsmanship, palm leaf roof thatching, and homemade tofu and brown sugar production, before slowing down on the beaches of Langkawi - it was one adventure after another🚣🦧🎋
