He's home!! Best day ever! Elder Jensen Underwood has returned from the Montana Billings Mission! He was an exceptional missionary and we are so proud of him as happy to have him home. Here's an except from his last email:

Words fail to express my thoughts and feelings regarding my ministry and I will forever be changed as a result of my time as a representative of Jesus Christ. I have learned so much about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and with that knowledge has grown an ever increasing love for the Savior, my Heavenly Father, and His plan of salvation for all of us, His children. I can't believe it's already been two years! “Time passed away …like as it were unto [me] a dream” (Jacob 7:26). But unlike a dream, I know that my mission will continue to have a profound impact upon me for the rest of my life. I am not coming home the same person I was when I started this journey. I have been changed by the Savior and His gospel and I can never go back. My mission isn't truly over, it's only just begun! I may lose the mantle, the name tag, and the authority that comes with the calling, but the power required to do the Lord's work will always be with me as long as I am worthy of the Holy Ghost. I never want to live my life without the Spirit. I've seen what the world can and will do to God's children. And I know the strength that comes through making righteous choices that invite the Spirit. It's a strength that can overcome the world!

I am honored to have been an instrument in His hands ro bring so many to the truth and serve them with Christ-like love and humility. Thank you to the Montana Billings Mission for changing my life forever!

And I, [Elder Jensen DRU Underwood], saw that I must soon go [home]; wherefore …I make an end of my writing upon these plates, which writing has been small; and to the reader I bid farewell, hoping that many of my brethren may read my words. Brethren, adieu” (Jacob 7:27).

Love,
Elder Underwood of the Montana Billings Mission 2022-2024

He'll be speaking on Sunday July 28th at 9 am at 7150 Callie Dr. West Jordan UT taken in Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) by @kimbunderwood

Where is He who walked with us?
Where is He who prayed?
Where is He whose voice rang out,
"Come forth from the grave?"

Where is He who knelt alone?
Who for us did bleed?
Where is He who gave His life
For our cause to plead?

It was He who taught all Galilee!
He who fed us by the sea!
With a smile He turned his head to say,
"Look on me, Follow me, Come to me,
I am the way!"

Where is He who dried the tears of the suffering soul?
Where is He who stayed our fears,
He who made us whole?

He who healed the broken heart,
He who calmed the storm;
He who came to save us all!
Where is He this morn?

HE IS RISEN!!

He still walks with us, pleads our cause, dries our tears, stays our fears, heals our hearts and calms our storms. He saves us all from sin and death. HE IS THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD! HE IS THE WAY ❤️ by @kimbunderwood
