Books I’ve loved recently and why!

To Have and To Heist by Sara Desai

This one is so fun. It follows a rag tag group of weirdos who band together to stage a heist. This book has such genuine friendship and an exciting love. It was really funny at times, entertaining the entire way through, and one of my favorite books of the year. I love romantic comedies that don’t take anything too seriously. It’s such a good break from reality to read books exactly like this. This and the sequel (also so good) were my first Sara Desai books but I will definitely have to look into her other titles! taken in BOOKSTA by @kimbwrites

You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle

This is probably one of my favorite enemies to lovers I’ve ever read. The way that Naomi and Nicholas just continually and purposefully got under each other’s skins was so fun to read. The slow burn of them falling back in love and finding each other again was so romantic too 🥹 I had the best time reading this and actually cannot wait to see if the movie lives up to the book! taken in BOOKSTA by @kimbwrites

Love and Other Conspiracies / Love at First Sighting by Mallory Marlowe

These books were so good.
It feels so rare sometimes to find something that’s both a good romance and actually funny, but these books both checked all the boxes for me. They’re paranormal romances, book one follows bigfoot and like conspiracies and book two is aliens/ UFOs. All with a likeable characters, banter, and chaos.
They were different, steamy, and genuinely just fun to read. I highly recommend them if you love romantic comedies, silly adventures, good chemistry, and just generally a good time while reading! taken in BOOKSTA by @kimbwrites
