@michell_mari was the fun to my boring, and the excitement to my ordinary.

Her laugh was contagious. She danced wherever and whenever, was always up for an adventure, and somehow always had a camera ready. She had this way of making even the simplest moments feel fun. Looking back, I think she was always trying to make sure we had something to remember.

I asked her to plan our itinerary, knowing she’d fill it with the things she loved. And honestly, I didn’t mind. I just wanted her to enjoy HCM the way she wanted to. Watching her get excited about every little thing, dragging me from one place to another, and stopping every few minutes for a photo.

We started the day with breakfast, then hopped on a motorbike tour around the city. She always wanted to experience HCM on the road, so we finally did it — just riding around, taking in the chaos, the streets, and everything in between. 🛵

Knowing what I know now, I’m glad I let her take the lead coz it meant seeing the city through her eyes. ✨

40 days already. I hope wherever you are, there’s good food, beautiful beaches, and endless adventures.

Thank you for all the chaos, laughter, spontaneous adventures, and memories. You may no longer be here, but you’ll forever be part of my story.

First dinner in HCM 🇻🇳✨ Had to try Pizza 4P’s Crab Pasta— and it did not disappoint! 🍝

Front-row seat to the pizza operation. Nothing like dinner with a little fire, flour, and controlled chaos. 🍕

Tiramisu was meh 😬

quiet night, busy city, and just me taking it all in. 🌃

morning run because apparently vacation calories don’t burn themselves. 😅

Came to Bep Me In ready to be converted. Plot Twist: still not the target market. 🤣

just wandering through HCM..

booked a night bus tour because my feet filed a complaint. After the tour, my hair filed one too. 💨🚌🌃

Dinner at Sol. Michellin-recognized and my taste buds definitely agreed.

Honestly, I was hesitant to post our HCM trip. But I know @michell_mari would want me to share these moments.

Back then, we’d collect photos and call them our “stash” —little pieces of our adventures saved up so we’d always have something to post. Whenever one of us ran out of stash, we’d message each other, knowing it was probably time for another trip.

That was our thing.

And now, I want to keep doing it. I want to remember “us” in every vacation, every photograph, every little adventure I take. Because even if she’s no longer here to collect them with me, these memories are still ours.

So here’s the first stash of our HCM trip. For us. 🤍
