If you don’t drive your classic car in the rain, you don’t deserve to enjoy it when the sun is shining.

You’re welcome, Autumn.

My very first Bernina Gran Turismo.
Visual Diary - Part II of II

There were too many favorite shots from my first time at @officialberninagranturismo, so I decided to split them in two carousels and here’s the second (and final) part.
If you like what you see, be sure to check out the previous post for part I.

Handycam Tales: Episode 15 - Provence & Côte d’Azur

Since a couple of years, every time I travel I bring with me a very understated piece of equipment: the almighty, full titanium Sony TG3
Performance-wise it’s absolutely no big deal, nothing more, nothing less than the typical early-2000s go-to camera. But it’s a really nice object. It’s incredibly small (which means pocketable), compact, reasonably fast and reliable, but most importantly…it’s fun to use.
Not that I need an extra camera, of course, but I genuinely enjoy using something different from my smartphone, rediscovering the pleasure of shooting with something that isn’t one of the incredibly performing cameras I already use everyday for work, or that damn brick I always carry in my pockets (and already use way too much).
Not that I have anything against smartphones or smartphone photography (I’m actually a big fan, as you probably know), but sometimes I really need to try something else. Something that offers me new challenges, new perspectives, fresh inspiration.

So I’ve started bringing this camera with me wherever I go, shooting fun little “episodes” along the way.
No huge resolutions, no hyperbolic editing, not even a touch of color grading. Just pure randomness and fun.

Enjoy Ep.15,
Cheers!

My very first Bernina Gran Turismo.
Visual diary - Part I of II

Thank you very much @officialberninagranturismo and @andreaklainguti for having me. It was an absolute pleasure and I can’t wait for next year already!
Last but not least, a big shout out to @andrea.furger for being the best spot guide I could possibly ask for (event though it was pretty challenging trying to keep up with your pace!).

Part of me loves a good ol’ faulty film camera.
The other part absolutely hates it.

What bothers me the most in this case is that three out of three Yashica T4s I bought (the Japanese version, known as the “Slim T” over here) didn’t work properly. If at all.

I guess that’s how it goes. Don’t hate the player, hate the game!
(For the record: I could never hate this game. We’re all here for the vibes, after all)

There’s just something about the 20% CineBloom filter. ✨

Soft highlights, glowing light, and a little extra magic in every frame.

It’s a simple way to give your photos a softer, more cinematic feel, whether you’re shooting on film or digital.
