I lost my little best friend four months ago today. Betty, I miss you so much. It’s still so painful to think about you being gone. I have thought about when and what to write here every single day. It’s still impossible to write this without sobbing. I am just going to write whatever comes out.
Sometimes I think I still hear you late at night or early in the morning - (I think Redfurd does too.) I am lucky he’s been by my side these past four months. I am not sure what I would do without him. He’s napping on me as I type this. Thank you to every single friend and family member who has been there for me. Love you all so much. ❤️ I miss you, my girl. Redfurd misses you too.
I miss your paws (especially on my face.)
I miss your sweet face.
I miss your purrs, your meows, and your love for sitting in boxes, and my lap. (I especially miss that.) You loved lounging on the balcony, resting your little chin on my balcony table legs. I miss you breaking out of the condo and running down the halls. (Maybe some of the neighbors do too.) I even miss the early morning alarm clock meows— you were always on time. I miss the begging for food. Your food was your food, but my food was also your food. At age 13, you were still feisty and energetic, but I’m sorry you never caught that laser pointer. I miss you so much it hurts, but I am so lucky you were my best friend for nearly 13 years. Love you, my Betty White, my boopers🐱 by @kimeowberly
