Time becomes an illusion when I am immersed in the creative sanctuary of my art studio. It's a cerebral and experimental space where my numerous blunders metamorphose into my greatest triumphs. Countless delicate sculptures that I meticulously craft are often marred by the unforgiving drying process, necessitating their elimination. It's an unrelenting process of evolution and natural selection.

Every minute here in Greece is a delicious experience.
These trips fill me up. It’s the uploading and wandering that inspire every part of my creativity when I’m back home. The rocks, the water, the heat, the dust, the deep love of this land that I pour into my artworks.

Athens.

Before I get there, a brief interruption.

Copenhagen has left me with an unexpected problem.

Too many photographs.

Too many observations.

Too many moments that deserve more than a quick story.

What I thought would be a few days away turned into a city that kept rewarding attention.

Not with landmarks.

With details.

The kind that are easy to miss.

And perhaps that’s why my camera roll is now slightly out of control.

So before Greece begins, I’m hitting pause.

A few final Copenhagen moments still need their turn.

The morning after arriving in Copenhagen, I found myself at @labanchinacph

As always, I became more interested in the people than the place.

What struck me was the absence of friction.

People moved differently.

Sat differently.

Occupied space differently.

Nobody seemed to be chasing the next thing.

Effortless.

Most people see objects.

I’m always looking for the eye behind them.

The person who decided:

this colour.

not that one.

this shape.

not that one.

this material.

not that one.

This store stopped me in my tracks today.

A reminder that great design is rarely about adding.

It’s about knowing what to leave out.

Perhaps that’s why I’m becoming increasingly interested in the space between art and object.

The things that don’t demand attention.

Yet somehow hold it.

Inspired by a visit to @louise.roe and @louiseroehome in Copenhagen.

I landed in Copenhagen today.

And within an hour, I understood why people talk about Scandinavian design.

Not because it’s beautiful.

Because almost everything feels intentional.

The plate.

The lighting.

The colours.

Nothing shouts.

Everything whispers sensitivity.

It reminded me of something I’ve been thinking about for a long time:

The difference between decoration and atmosphere.

Between an artwork and an artefact.

Between something you look at and something you live with.

It’s the same question that’s been sitting quietly behind the metal print collection I’ve been developing.

More on that soon.

For now, I’m paying attention.

Lisbon has a way of softening the edges.
The light. The pace. The way ideas arrive without force.

I didn’t come here to “find inspiration.”
I came to listen …. and somehow everything started speaking.

Cities shape how I think, how I see, how I make.
They slip into the work quietly…
and only later do you realize they’ve changed the whole direction.

More travels, more fragments, more process coming soon.
Some places don’t ask to be documented, they ask to be felt.
