Kim Kee Noodle House in Rosemead is the kind of spot I point people to when they want comfort food that feels simple, fast, and deeply dialed in. It is a Chiu Chow style noodle house where the move is building your bowl around the noodles and toppings you actually want, then letting the broth do the talking.
Here are five things that make it worth knowing.
They are known for Hu Tieu style bowls where yellow egg noodles meet seafood like shrimp and fish balls.
The broth gets love for tasting warm and clean without being overly salty.
Beef stew noodle bowls show up as a fan favorite, especially when paired with Chinese donuts for dipping.
If you like dry noodles, people talk about the Fujian shrimp and pork style bowls with a light vinegary pop.
There is a fun side quest here too, sweet soy sauce rice cake with egg and other classic add ons that turn a noodle stop into a full table.

One of the BEST bowls of Teochew noodles I’ve ever had — and I’ve had A LOT 🤰
I got the Fujian Shrimp & Pork Mei Wong. Simple, yet bursting with flavor. It starts with a light vinegar kick, then floods your mouth with umami. So many different textures: two kinds of noodles, fried shrimp chips, bouncy shrimp, and juicy minced pork. I was in flavor and texture heaven 👼

A meal together is a routine that we cherish every day and forever as a couple! Most of the time, we will use this time to tell stories and plan on something, with laughter (maybe arguing) in the middle 🍜🥢

Kim Kee Noodle House has been our go-to since many years ago for ‘Bakmie’ 🤣, one of the comfort foods that we enjoy having in the morning.

Rasanya ga sama kayak Bakmie Indonesia, tapi ini cukup utk jd pengobat rindu ✨🍜

Happy father's day to all the loving supporting dads. To anyone who has lost a dad or father figure. To the difficult father relationships To the people that stand in as the father figure. To the fathers who have lost someone. To the new fathers. To the people who want to be fathers but can't. To the fathers that are doing their best. To the fathers who have been pressured to be a father. To the father's raising their children alone.

Also, happy father's day to our dad that has started this business. It's a blessing to have this restaurant in our family and to be able to share our food with you all since 1996. We hope you have a wonderful day.

Hope you all had a wonderful Lunar New year! Our OG location had a total blast with a suckling pig, firecrackers, and our annual lion dance in the parking lot and inside our resturant for good luck and fortune. We are back our typical schedule today for all 3 resturants, with South El Monte, Kim Kee Noodle House, closed every Thursday and Rosemead, New Kim Kee Noodle House, closed every Weds.

Mingon with tomato based Red Rice. Meat usually served medium rare for a tasty time, but if you prefer it to be fully cooked, you can ask for that as an option. Check us out!

Customers having a little bit of creativity with our originals, ordering the house special, but putting the meats in the soup and noodles with some oil and other sauces. We took a bite out of it, and I say it's a nice little creation. What will you do next when you come by? We are closed today in the Rosemead location, but the Monterey Park and South El Monte are still open. Come on over! .
