Some events give you something to think about. Others give you something to carry forward. ✨ ILLUMINATE LIVE 2026 was one of those experiences! I had the pleasure of joining an incredible group of voices as a panelist for Finding Your Voice, a conversation about something I believe deserves far more attention: the power of knowing who you are, owning your perspective, and having the confidence to let yourself be heard. Finding your voice is a journey. Life has a way of influencing what we say, what we hold back, and how much of ourselves we’re willing to reveal. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is reconnect with the woman who never questioned whether her voice mattered. What I loved about ILLUMINATE LIVE was the opportunity to exchange perspectives, make meaningful connections, and be part of conversations that deserve to continue long after the event ends. Thank you to the ILLUMINATE LIVE team, my fellow panelists, and everyone who brought their energy and authenticity to the experience. Here’s a glimpse of the magic! 🎬 #IlluminateLive2026 #FindingYourVoice#illuminatelive #AuthenticLeadership #TheBreakthrough WomenOver40 by @kimmdotco

Some experiences stay with you long after they're over. This was one of them. I've been in business for more than two decades, and I know the difference between someone delivering a service and someone genuinely investing in the person they're serving. What @mzskittlez and @theicingagencyofficial created for me went well beyond beautiful photographs. There's something incredibly powerful about putting your personal brand in someone else's hands and feeling completely confident that they understand what it represents. Two years later, that experience still holds a special place in my heart. And I think that says everything about the kind of business Mary has built. For women entrepreneurs, speakers, and business owners investing in professional brand photography and personal branding, The Icing Agency is a name worth knowing. And @mzskittlez, just know that the impact of your work lasts a whole lot longer than the photoshoot. ❤️ Thank you @casheroyal , @keysbeautytouch, @itsneriahe and the rest of the team!! 💗❤️💖 #TheIcingAgencyOfficial #IconicBranding #WomenOwnedBusiness #BrandPhotography by @kimmdotco
When did everything you’ve accomplished start to feel less important than everything you've been trying to accomplish but haven’t? My session will invite you to take a look within and do something different. After this session, you won't be able to unsee it. Why do I do what I do? Because if I can share something that lets someone embrace the power of choice, if only for one day, it was worth every long night. by @kimmdotco

I was young, alone and far away from home. I went to this attorney for help. Wilbur N. Hudson III had other things in mind. If you’re ready to shine the light on someone who victimized you, know that you’re not alone. The full video is on my YouTube channel, @kimmdotco. Pro tip: Don’t record when you’re exhausted. One thing I don’t do is gatekeep so I want to share the agency that has been putting me on for over a year now. The Influential Leader Agency (not Leadership like I said in the video!) is the PR engine behind almost all of my appearances. Even though I’m still working on my first million, they treat me like I have Franklin Mint money. And they are truly interested in what’s going on in my life, not just how my business is going. The opportunities that have come my way as a result of working with them are ones I might never have gotten otherwise. And they don’t just toss you out front - they prepare you to tell your story your way. The result is that I can show up as my whole self! Thank you @briellecotterman and @heatherfrenchhenry and the whole @influential_leader_agency team!! by @kimmdotco
“Your results are in range.” I was exhausted. My hair was falling out. I was cold all the time. My body was changing. And I couldn’t shake off the extra weight no matter how much I shook it like a Polaroid picture. They’d run a few tests, tell me everything looked “normal,” and send me home. I would go home and start chasing symptoms. A supplement for this. A cream for that. Another vitamin. Another powder. Another potion somebody on the internet swore would finally fix it. I tried it all. It changed nothing. Just by chance I found a functional doctor online who was willing to look deeper and at the whole picture. When she said ‘I don’t guess. I test.” I was in. Take my money! And for the first time, I had an explanation for what I was experiencing and a plan for what to do next. Please learn from my experience. “We don’t know” is not the same as “there’s nothing wrong.” “Your labs are in range” is not the same as “your numbers are in the optimal range.” We’re trained to think we need a prescription that’s going to make all of our symptoms go away. Meanwhile, we develop a rash between our anus and genitals that could be fatal. Uh, no thank you. If you know something has changed in your body, keep asking questions. Ask what was tested. Ask what wasn’t. Ask what else could explain your symptoms. Ask whether further evaluation or another opinion makes sense. You are allowed to keep looking for answers. Don’t let a normal test result convince you to stop listening to an abnormal experience in your own body. by @kimmdotco
How did you get to that place in your life where it doesn't feel like you anymore? You chose to be there. The good news is, you can choose something different. Think about why your vision board this year looks a lot like last year's. What happened? Life happened. One day at a time. And the choices you made sounded like good reasons. "I would have to sell my house to get the money for my business." "Traveling every weekend for an acting class doesn't make sense." "It'll take me months to get as good as I need to be." Choosing between a rock and a hard place is still a choice. Choosing your goals, your dreams, your desires on purpose is the only way to reunite with the version of yourself that believes you can have them. That's what I'm getting into at the Top 100 Most Powerful Black Women Virtual Summit. My masterclass is called The Power They See and the Woman You Don't. October 19-23, 2026 | https://www.top100mostpowerfulblackwomen.com/kimberly by @kimmdotco
When MTV started, they had a slogan that said, “Too much…is never enough.” That stuck with me. Over the years, I’ve applied it applied it to many things. Pizza and cake. 😋Sunshine and good music. ☀️The smile of a beautiful man with big muscles. 😍. Then I realized I wasn’t applying it to my work. To my goals. To my bank account. Turns out I had some long-held beliefs about how much I “should” have. How much was “enough”. So here’s what I want to share. The more value you bring to the world, the more the world will return to you. Holding back from going for what you want is holding back something that could change someone’s life. Including yours. by @kimmdotco
